The Sameer Project is mobilizing to create a winter package for Palestinians in Gaza. According to what is available and affordability, we are hoping to distribute 1,000 winter packages this week.
Current prices for blankets (4 kilos) is around $35, straw mats are $5, tarps are around $45, and so on. But at The Sameer Project we try to get the best prices because that means MORE packages. We aim to get more aid for less money.

Thinking about the Homewarming storybook:
This storybook is just... other people projecting their wants onto Home. Home wants to stay warm, Home wants an expensive gift, Home wants to shine, Home wants a nice meal.
Even at the end, Barn and the narrator speak for Home first.
