white men stealing the credit from POC is anybody surprised?
We got your back, New York!
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Several figures here aren’t federal results or NY-specific. The $472B combines US wide pledges: Micron's $250B is nationwide (NY site $100B) Anthropic's $50B covers TX and NY. The 48% murder drop is from NY's state run GIVE program (28 departments, Jan – May 2026). arkolith.com/news/news-micr… therepublic.com/?p=843020 governor.ny.gov/news/safer-str…

community note not popping up on this bold faced lying tweet is further proof elon musk is actively trying to influence elections.

wow finally someone interviewed muslims on the rise of islamophobia they've witnessed from the dems
El-Sayed supporters Aasiya Yaasiin, Mina Abdel-Khalek and Faduma Hassan say Islamophobic rhetoric in TV ads is making them feel less safe at school and in public. “It’s like going back in time. I’m more in danger of a racist event now than five years ago,” Yaasiin says.

FUCK THIS PIECE OF SHIT. ROT IN JAIL NEXT!
UPDATE: ICE officer Mario Morales has surrendered in Houston after being indicted on a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Video captured Morales striking Miguel Parra Hernandez with his vehicle during an immigration enforcement operation. Miguel was not the man ICE identified as its target. According to that man’s family, the person agents were looking for had been dead for nine years. No badge puts an officer above the law. Immigration enforcement is not a license to harm. Miguel Parra Hernandez and his family deserve justice. 🎥: @fox26houston

as a pessimist with 0 understanding of data this is where im at too 😭 happy to be proven wrong but to me talarico barely scrapes out a win and gina (unfortunately) comes so close but suffers a heartbreaking loss same as beto. gina's run gives us hope for governor for next cycle!
Ok, final Texas thoughts. Summary: I am being a pessimist and think polls overestimate Trump-D persuasion, as well as blue non-voter lean. NYT Siena and Atlas Intel are objectively very good polls for the Dem side - but I still don't quite believe them. 1) Atlas didn't directly publish recall but its persuasion splits in Sen/Gov makes sense. So how do we get D+6 Sen and D+2 Gov? They think Non-2024 voters are breaking 90% D. Insanity. 2) NYT Siena has Trump +11 recall (the red end of what I think the final post-eday settles around), so that's fine. In Gov: They have 2% of Harris voters voting for Abbott (reasonable). 7% of Trump voters voting for Hinojosa seems pretty high to me. In Sen: They have 1% of Harris voters voting for Paxton (the remaining Dixiecrats?), while 9% of Trump voters vote Talarico. That seems pretty high, given what is going on. Additionally, NYT Siena has D+40 Sen and D+27 Gov for non-2024 voters. While I do think they will lean blue, my D+1 rests on a far more conservative D+20 and D+15 assumption in both races. The Trump Recall is correct, but my hypothesis is that the Republicans here are not as Trumpy as the ones that are expected to show up in the Deluge tomorrow. I can't prove persuasion but I am guessing the quickly elevating rural white turnout in days 10-12 of EV is carrying into E-Day as I suggested might happen. Remember 2022 - outside of MI/WI/PA/a few other states, it was a wave of red carnage against Dems. I am positing that TX will be a similar situation. Dems can win, but it will *not* be significantly amplified by turnout differentials like NC/GA/FL to an extent which everyone thought was safe until a few weeks ago. A surge of Dark MAGA Republicans who vote red down the ballot might still find Ken Paxton a bridge too far, but all the other Democratic statewides would probably want lower turnout. I'll be happy to be wrong, but right now holding at Talarico +1, as the lone statewide Democrat to win. LEAN IS NOT SAFE - Paxton can definitely win as I have described before. Space tonight - appreciate all of you. And thanks to @ZacharyDonnini and @theoelections for all the help and advice!

evil, evil woman. imagine being so old and still so evil.
"Nobody Wants This" star Tovah Feldshuh says "tensions are not rising" among the cast despite disagreement with Adam Brody over Israel and Palestine. “Tensions are NOT RISING. Profound differences of opinion are. Please do not conflate the two—And none of it will be brought to the set. I deeply enjoy filming NWT and hope we are chosen to go on for a fourth season.” variety.com/2026/tv/news/nob…

oh this is so nasty. is SA a joke to you? both situations are just awful and are far more serious than this nonsense you're trying to start. get off your burner account and say this on main if you really believe it but you won't bcs you're a loser both online and irl probably.
So funny how Tay Tawan unfollowed Boom because of "allegations" while no victom came forward but defended her friend who's married to a phedophile who abused his teen gay brother with undisputable evidence. Hypocrite

THIS. anyone can be misogynistic but the reason gay men get mad when you say they're being misogynistic is bcs they think their quietness gives them a pass to say vile shit about women. so when we say gay men are still men that's what we mean but they wanna go #notallmen 🫪🫪
why is it so outlandish to say gay men can be misogynistic? i see gay men be misogynistic all the time. anyone can be misogynistic. i’ve seen multiple trans women spew misogynistic rhetoric today. i see cis women say they don’t think women should be able to vote all the time.

what we're NOT gonna do is bring back that absolutely vile human and make him a victim. he was a piece of shit, his castmates didn't just unfollow but put out STATEMENTS condemning him and he said vile things abt everyone. those of us who were here won't let y'all clear his name.
People are bringing back the Bob topic treating him as a victim and a lot of people who weren't here at that time are falling for it. He was not a victim, he hurt people, he was being homophobic, xenophobic, racist and sexist not only in 2016 but also in the big year of 2022.

I WOULDN’T, EVER! I’ve been working for candidates whose names are lesser known around the Country and in Texas… I’m still not sure why that’s angered so many people, but I’m praying @thefirepac has a great night because it’ll mean our state and country have some amazing years to look forward to.
