What a cool lady. There are so many hard working ppl behind the music we all love. They need to be appreciated and supported too. nytimes.com/2022/06/22/arts/…
Walking by last weekend, stopped to hear more and then drew this! Love the bands she mentioned. Thanks Lorelei! instagram.com/loreleiartsstu…

This #WearOrange Day, we are honoring Hadiya Pendleton, a 15-year-old Chicagoan who was shot and killed in 2013. Hadiya’s friends and family (pictured here) decided to commemorate her life by wearing orange and in doing so started a national movement about gun violence awareness.
ALT Hadiya, a young Black teenager, smiles for a selfie. Her hand sits softly on her chin.
ALT Hadiya's father, brother, and mother smile for a selfie in bright orange shirts that read "I wear orange for Hadiya."

That’s amazing! And if they need an extra 15 min, we would be happy to warm the crowd up for them (everyone we know will be in it).
We're so excited to share our full #CelebrateBrooklyn lineup with you in a few weeks. But for now, mark your calendars to join us for Khruangbin, a ticketed benefit show on 8/4! Tickets will be available on Ticketmaster on Friday 3/25 at 10 am EST.
