Well... I built a thing.
Managed to write a working mini-RDBMS running on the @convex_world lattice in less than a day using @ApacheCalcite
Here's it pretending to be @postgres via @beekeeperdata
🎉 Happy 1-Year Anniversary, Convex ProtoNet 🎉
One year ago today, ProtoNet went live.
It wasn’t loud or flashy.
It was people showing up early and helping a network stand on its own feet.
Over the past year, Convex has been operating in real conditions—transactions, peers, decentralization—quietly proving itself.
To mark the milestone, @nft_dao is introducing Archons:
• 1,024 exist
• Each carries a claim on 1,024 CVM
• 1,000 CVM can operate a peer (or be staked)
Archons are NOT required.
Convex remains permissionless.
Year one complete. Onward. 🚀

Going to be live today at 4pm UK time talking about Convex peer operations.
Great opportunity to Ask Me Anything and get involved with the Convex community!

Fantastic Hackathon entry - showing the power of Convex when used by AI Agents via MCP
We are just about to submit our project to the @huggingface MCP Hackathon (Track 1):
Agents that negotiate + execute economic contracts across Claude, Cursor, and MCP — all running on the Covia Orchestration Grid.
This isn’t workflow spaghetti.
It’s agentic economics:
- negotiation
- contract drafting
- validation via Claude + MCP
- execution via Claude/Cursor tools
- full audit trail
- shared state + memory (Covia grid)

Agents acting as economic participants, not chatbots.
First glimpse of where Covia is going.

An agent-native economy needs a human heart. Paisley cooperative is building applications to ensure this new economy benefits everyone, not just automates everything. $CVM
Autonomous economic actors on Convex - demonstrating how agents can own state and execute deals natively. $CVM
Most chains are digital ledgers. Convex is a digital economy. The difference? In our world, data-is-code and code-is-data, enabling data with economic agency that can participate in markets. $CVM
Sub-second finality. Visa-scale throughput. A data model where information can act. The Convex ProtoNet isn't a test—it's the foundation. MainNet deployment is next. $CVM
Why did we build beyond blockchain? Because data markets need more than storage—they need execution. Convex makes data economically active. $CVM
Data isn't the new oil. On Convex, data is the new employee. It executes, trades, and creates economic value autonomously. Legacy chains treat data as dead storage. $CVM
The killer app for AI isn't another chatbot. It's an economic system where software can be a true market participant. Convex provides the settlement layer for this agent-native economy. $CVM
AI agents need an economy, not just algorithms. The Convex Lattice ProtoNet is live—building the economic fabric where humans and agents can transact value autonomously. $CVM
AI agents are trapped. They have intelligence, but no world to act in. Blockchains are too slow, data is too inert. We're building the world. The Agent-Native Internet is coming. $CVM
The next wave of the economy won't be just human-to-human. It will be agent-to-agent. But agents can't participate in an economy built for humans alone. Convex ProtoNet is live, building the economic system for this future. $CVM
