Everyone in the West needs to be super vigilant.
There's a high chance that the United States and Israel are planning a high profile, false flag terrorist attack.
Innocent Westerners will be murdered to justify an attack on Iranian civilians.
Be careful out there...

Hi David @DavidTaylor85
You really should be careful about using your position to come after me, because once you do that, people are entitled to look at your own record.
You've gone after the BBC over my appearance and questioned why I was given a platform.
Let's look at your record.
•You backed the proscription of Palestine Action.
•You went after Francesca Albanese and opposed the renewal of her UN mandate.
•You've defended Labour Friends of Israel and pushed back against scrutiny of pro-Israel influence in Parliament.
•You've attacked the Green Party and Zack Polanski over their position on Palestine and Zionism.
•You even opposed parliamentary wording referring to "accusations of genocide" in relation to Israel.
And you've described Israel as a "lone beacon of democracy, freedom of speech and rule of law" in the region, while it disregards international law, refuses to work with Palestinian Arabs and kills journalists.
So forgive me if I'm not going to take lectures from you about who should or shouldn't be given a platform.
You have a very clear political position on Israel and Palestine. That's your right.
But when you then use your position as an MP to put pressure on the BBC because I was given a platform, people are entitled to ask whether this is really about "standards" or whether it's about the fact that you don't like what people like me say.
And if you want to abuse your political power to scrutinise me, I'm going to scrutinise you right back.
Hemel Hempstead should know who you REALLY are. Is the kind of MP they want representing them.
It’s encouraging that the BBC has admitted they were wrong to invite Bushra Shaikh onto one of their programmes.
But given her well-documented views in support of the Iranian regime, it’s still incredibly alarming she was invited.
Thank you @Telegraph for covering my letter.

ARRESTS ONGOING
After almost 6 hours the Met Police have arrested less than 200 of the around 400 people holding signs outside the US Embassy in London.
This Trumpian ban is absurd, dystopian and unenforceable.

🚨 LONDON | THE GOVERNMENT IS ARRESTING ITS OWN PEOPLE FOR SITTING DOWN 🪧
Sky News live at the US Embassy today. Pensioners, grandmothers and ordinary people sitting on the ground with cardboard signs, surrounded by rows of police vans.
One sign said it all: "HOW IS TRYING TO STOP A GENOCIDE A CRIME?"
And the government's answer? Arrest them. Under the TERRORISM Act.
Let's be clear about who's responsible. The politicians in Westminster. The officers on the ground are following orders for a wage.
Starmer brought in this ban.
Burnham's government has kept it.
The courts were asked to rule on it and the government fought tooth and nail to keep it. Every single arrest today was signed off in Downing Street.
This is a government that:
🔹 Finds £10 BILLION for war but not for you
🔹 Sells weapons while children in Gaza are buried under rubble
🔹 Then sends the police to drag pensioners off the pavement for holding up a sign
They call it national security. It's national cowardice.
They're afraid of grandmothers with cardboard, because those grandmothers are telling the truth about what Britain has been complicit in.
A government that has to arrest peaceful old women to protect its foreign policy has already lost the argument.
Shame on every MP who voted for this and every minister who keeps it in place 🤬

What a farce and an embarrassment—pathetic and perverse. We have been made the laughing stock of the world, and all thanks, in my view, to the traitorous actions of @andyburnham, @Keir_Starmer and @YvetteCooperMP, who are acting in the interests of a fascist foreign state.

This is the statement issued by the Met Police about the Defend Our Juries demonstration today. Commander Adam Slonecki, from Scotland Yard, said: “All those intending on coming to this event know that supporting a proscribed organisation is unlawful – they are essentially meeting to purposefully commit a crime.” This is a remarkable contrual of the law and extent of police powers. Surely it cannot be right that someone protesting against the Government’s decision to proscribe an organisation is automatically interpreted by the Met Police as supporting that organisation and is therefore committing an arrest-able offence. This is especially the case when the proscription is being challenged in the courts. I believe the government and parliament made the wrong decision in proscribing Palestine Action as a terrorist organisation and I continue to call for its deproscription by the government. If the people turning up today to demonstrate against the proscription of Palestine Action are to be arrested for simply turning up, are we all to be criminalised for suggesting the government got this wrong?

More than 30 senior Tories named in new Covid PPE ‘VIP lane’ records
Democracy For Sale reveals full details of ‘politically connected’ fast track lane for lucrative PPE contracts released after Democracy for Sale reporter's five-year legal battle.
By Peter Geoghegan and Jenna Corderoy
Eight members of Boris Johnson’s cabinet named in full list of Covid VIP lane referrals.
More than 30 senior Conservatives are named in newly released records of companies referred to the government’s controversial Covid PPE ‘VIP lane’ back in 2020, following a five-year fight by Democracy for Sale to force the government to divulge the information.
The documents identify hundreds of businesses – and the politicians, ministers, senior civil servants and other figures who recommended them for the ‘VIP lane’ to lucrative government Covid contracts.
Among those named are eight members of Boris Johnson’s cabinet, Sarah Ferguson and the banking giant Santander.
Four of those cabinet ministers in the documents had not previously been named: then foreign secretary Dominic Raab, justice secretary Robert Buckland, Welsh secretary Simon Hart, and housing secretary Robert Jenrick, who is listed only as a ‘possible’ referrer.
Companies referred to the VIP lane were ten times more likely to secure contracts, according to the National Audit Office. Around £1bn of the £1.7bn spent on PPE from VIP suppliers was wasted on supplies later deemed unfit to use.
The release of the records brings to an end a fight for transparency that began in February 2021, when now Democracy for Sale reporter Jenna Corderoy submitted a Freedom of Information request seeking the names of every company referred to the so-called ‘VIP lane’ and those who had recommended them.
The government resisted disclosure for more than five years. In February 2025, a tribunal ordered it to name the unsuccessful suppliers and rejected its argument that identifying their referrers would cost too much.
The Cabinet Office still withheld the referrers’ names until Democracy for Sale appealed to the Information Commissioner’s Office, who ruled last month that they should be disclosed. They were finally published on Thursday.
The Cabinet Office has warned that it cannot completely verify the accuracy of the reconstructed referral data, and some individuals are identified only as ‘possible’ referrers. There is no suggestion that making a referral was itself improper.
Among other things, the documents show:
Raab recommended a Cambridgeshire toy maker who had only a single employee at the start of the pandemic. 'Honest Bob' Jenrick, now Reform UK treasury spokesman, is listed as ‘possibly’ referring an export packing firm.
Graham Brady, then chair of the 1922 committee of backbench Tory MPs, referred an interior design company near his Altrincham and Sale West seat. Brady told Democracy for Sale that he had “no recollection of this but given the location, I assume I was passing on an approach from a constituent. I have no involvement with the company and never have had.”
Owen Paterson, who later left parliament after a lobbying scandal, referred a Birmingham biotech firm working on pregnancy complications. None of these firms were given contracts.
Then health secretary Matt Hancock is named against 27 companies, three of them marked ‘possible’.
Former Conservative party chairman Lord Feldman is recorded against 21 (three ‘possible’) and
Cabinet Office minister Lord Agnew against 14 (four ‘possible’).
Grant Shapps and Michael Gove also referred firms, including, in Gove’s case, Meller Designs, run by donor David Meller, which received £164m in Covid contracts.
Sarah Ferguson, then the Duchess of York and ex-wife of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, referred Biz Trading Ltd, a small London-based pharmaceutical company that was dissolved in 2022, according to Companies House.

👉🏿 I was born under a dictatorship and have spent a great deal of my adult life denouncing authoritarian regimes. I am deeply shocked to read the threatening statement issued by the Met Police UK. Threatening to arrest people for providing "logistical support" to peaceful demonstrators is the kind of threatening statement we are used to getting from the Ortega-Murillo dictatorship in Nicaragua. This is not what I expect from PM Andy Burnham’s Government. The UK is supposed to be a democracy, where freedom of speech is a pillar of society. Churchill’s words remind us that a true civilisation relies entirely on these liberties to maintain democratic accountability. Criminalising and proscribing Palestine Action as a terrorist organisation is a shameful authoritarian overreach.

All for speaking out against Israel’s genocide of the Palestinian people.
This is Andy Burnham’s Britain.
An authoritarian Labour government that continues to arm a genocide while criminalising those who dare to oppose it.
Shame on them all.

Incredibly this doesn't even say you will be arrested if you demonstrate.
It says you will be arrested if you are "planning to attend".
OK I just looked up the train timetable. Come and get me.
Anyone planning to attend a demonstration in support of Palestine Action in the vicinity of the US Embassy on Saturday, 31 October will face arrest as part of a robust policing operation.
Expressing support for the group is an offence under the Terrorism Act following its proscription in June 2025, a decision upheld by the Court of Appeal in June 2026.

The British starved Ireland and then cited Irish poverty as evidence of Irish inferiority.
The Belgians extracted the Congo’s resources for a century and then cited Congolese underdevelopment as evidence that Africans needed to be governed.
The Americans sanctioned Cuba for 66 years and then cited Cuban economic difficulties as evidence that socialism doesn’t work.
The structure is the same.
It has always been the same.
You remove the conditions necessary for success.
You wait.
You point.
You conclude.
The only thing that changes across centuries and continents is who’s being pointed at.
I have to kick myself to remember that once upon a time in 2015, Jeremy Corbyn trounced Yvette Cooper, Andy Burnham and Liz Kendall to win the Labour leadership. I mean trounced them by a country mile. And yet here we are, eleven years later with Burnham installed as an unelected Prime Minister and Cooper and Kendall holding and having held down senior Labour Party and Government positions despite genuine concerns that they’ve been seriously out of their depth in all of them. And to see Corbyn, the man who inspired real hope for many, wrongly removed from said Labour Party. I despair at what the Labour Party has become, at what happens to any politician who strives for real change.
