Had a look at sensitivities of various cryptoassets to #Midterm election odds.
Just looked at the most likely scenarios - according to @Polymarket:
1) Democrats Sweep (~67% prob.)
2) R Senate / D House (~25% prob.)
Turns out none of the top 10 cryptoassets has a statistically significant relationship to these Midterm election odds.
You can infer hypothetical prices but they are all insignificant. Note R^2 is in %-terms so most of these are sub 1%.
Looks like crypto markets are busy digesting other news right now...

Every quarter, we track different major networks and share what we're seeing in staking and onchain activity.
This quarter, our staking report covers Ethereum, Solana, Hyperliquid, Robinhood Chain and Near.
There is now more onchain activity than ever, and it keeps getting cheaper as teams scale the infrastructure.
Here are our main takeaways 🧵
The Bitwise Staking Report (Q4 2026) is live.
In our quarterly digest, we take a hard look at protocol metrics for @ethereum, @solana, @HyperliquidX, @Robinhoodcrypto, and @NEARProtocol.
TL;DR: Stake is up, costs are down, and rewards are down too.

1) A lot of people ask me how exactly Bitcoin can change the world
Sometimes I say “Bitcoin can fix this” or “Bitcoin will make the world a better place”
But to many, it’s unclear how any of that will actually happen
So here’s my full vision for the world on Bitcoin 🧵
Since late June, Bitcoin miners and HPC converts have moved more closely with CoreWeave, even despite Bitcoin's ~40% rally from its lows.
Why?
1) Many of these miners continue to sell down their BTC.
2) Many miners continue to borrow to build data centres
Watch for widening CDS spreads, "force majeure's", rent cuts with AI tenants, or lease terminations.

Have we crossed the point of no return?
- $2 trillion deficit
- $1 trillion in annual debt payments
- Debt has doubled over the past decade
If so, what do you do? Buy bitcoin and gold?
BREAKING: The US deficit widened to $1.99 trillion for FY2026, up +12% from the $1.78 trillion recorded last year.
Spending rose by +6%, to $7.4 trillion, and NET interest officially rose above $1 trillion.
Debt servicing costs are now their third largest expense for the US government, only behind Social Security and Medicare.
This marks the fourth-straight year with the US fiscal deficit around $2 trillion.
The deficit spending crisis is out of control.

"Bitcoin is a leveraged NASDAQ play"
Actually #bitcoin has managed to outperform every major equity index & ETF in October amid the AI sell-off so far.
GM to the crypto-verse.
Global crypto ETPs recorded a third consecutive week of net outflows.
Although the pace roughly halved from the previous week and Ethereum overtook Bitcoin as the main source of redemptions.
Outflows were concentrated in BlackRock's iShares products, with ETHA alone accounting for around 93% of US spot Ethereum ETF outflows and IBIT for around 70% on the Bitcoin side.
The backdrop also turned more cautious, with the Cross Asset Risk Appetite (CARA) indicator slipping into negative territory mid-week and the Cryptoasset Sentiment Index staying below zero throughout, despite recovering from -0.49 to -0.21.
Kalshi’s perps volume is driven mainly by free trading and maker rebates. Once Kalshi’s fee waiver ends after 2026, its volume will show how much of this activity is real.
Open interest is the better measure of real demand, and on that Polymarket holds about twice Kalshi’s after six weeks.
