ALT Assault details On 7/16/2017, a group of us gathered at Homewood Suites in San Jose to do a photoshoot for a mutual friend’s new fursuit. Jeff/Dax/wolfwithdances and Lauren/Latte were in this group, as were myself and my partner Kenny/Fennecus. A few other friends were present, and many of us brought fursuits to take additional photos with. Jeff brought a hitachi magic wand. While our partners and friends were engaged in the bedroom section of the suite, taking photos of suits, I walked into the sitting area where Jeff was alone. As I approached him, he pulled the magic wand out from behind his back, pushed it against my crotch, and turned it on.

ALT There was no discussion beforehand, nothing to make me suspect this was a sexual situation, and I certainly did not give consent. In fact, we had known each other for long enough that he should have known I do not like being touched at all without warning. I felt extremely violated, and was uncomfortable for the rest of the day. When we got home, I cried by myself in the shower. I didn’t report it, because I didn’t want to jeopardize the convention. I minimized what happened and tried to forget, because I had been made to believe the event was more important than anything else. It is not. I am now investigating whether it is possible to make a police report for this assault, despite it being 6 years ago.
