Real change in Africa can only happen with real money. Africa was promised billions when we actually need trillions to address the climate crisis. Public money must lead, as grants not loans, and it must reach people now. Cancel unfair debt. Make big polluters and the super-rich pay their fair share. Ensure communities and movements are heard.

As we continue celebrating the different struggles of Women in this History Month, let's keep amplifying the voices of women and girls who continue to face numerous challenges in our communities.
Mrs. Bako Judith, Assistant RCC, Arua City during the 2025 SRHR Symposium at Desert Breeze, highlighted the need for collective support to empower young women and girls, particularly in the face of menstruation without access to pads, sexual abuse, domestic violence and poverty exacerbated by climate change encouraging stakeholders to pledge their support to initiatives that tackle these challenges and advocate for government backing to create meaningful change.

Hon. Abia Christine emphasizes the need to break down barriers that hold women back because when we Empower women, we Empower the society. Every woman, regardless of land owner, deserves to be empowered with knowledge, skills, and resources!
As NGOs and CDOs, let's join forces to educate both girls and boys on equality and the value of empowering women.
Collective efforts for a greater purpose.
Together, we can create a more just and equitable society where everyone can live with dignity and reach their full potential!
Kudos to Hon. Abia Christine for championing women's empowerment.
