Lessons from @elonmusk and Mark Zuckerberg and Napoleon: “Elon has demonstrated that if you have a small, incredibly cracked, highly technical team, that's very flat, you can accomplish a lot very quickly.” “Mark has internalized that failure doesn't matter. It just matters when you win, how big you win.” “That concept enables Mark to operate without fear because he’s just very comfortable taking lots of risk.” “Mark has this great quote that says: The biggest risk is not taking any risk. In a world that's changing the only strategy that is guaranteed to fail is not taking risks.” “In the book The Mind of Napoleon, Napoleon repeats that hesitation is fatal. Napoleon says before you engage in a course of action you should deliberate thoroughly. He'd study from every angle to make sure he's making the right decision. But once he’s sure he’s on the right path, he goes all in. I feel there's an echo with the way Mark operates. Once Mark knows what he wants to do, he empties the clip.”

A prospective $OPEN Money Index methodology that has outperformed BTC and ETH in bulls and outperforms ETH in bears. Should this methodology become the next iteration for OPEN? Scrutiny invited in the RFC linked below.
GM open money trenches, If you live in one of the communities tagged below, $SQUILL governance may have landed in your wallet in 2025. It gave holders a vote over how the $OPEN Stablecoin Networks Index is built. Sold it? No hard feelings. Locked it as vlSQUILL? Grab a wrench. OPEN is back in the garage testing new index methodologies. Early backtests have found options that beat ETH in both bull and bear markets. Now we need analysts, autists and enthusiasts to help stress test. Kick the tires. Challenge the assumptions, methods and conclusions. Have a better way to build OPEN? Put it on the table. 4 years ago Bo Davidson had quit baseball, he was playing slow pitch softball and working at a warehouse. 3 years ago he was virtually unknown playing in community college when a Giants scout accidentally discovered him. On Monday, Bo made history with a hit, stolen base and run in his MLB debut. Never give up on your dreams. @NBCSGiants #sfgiants

Ricky Williams says failure and fame are both dangerous because too much failure can destroy your belief in yourself, while too much success can convince you that you’re better than everyone around you “My advice to young people about handling pressure is look for it. Especially if you’re doing something competitive. Whoever can handle the pressure is who’s going to be successful. Everybody knows their assignment.” “But your ability to withstand the pressure, remember your assignment and execute at the same time, that’s the key to success.” “What’s more dangerous, failure or fame? I think they’re both dangerous. When you have too much failure, sometimes you doubt yourself and you can’t be a good teammate.” “And sometimes if you have too much success, you think you’re great and it’s hard to be a good teammate. I found in my career, the thing that kept me most balanced were the guys around me.”

I have a different view on the @ArrakisFinance attack, analyzed by @exvulsec... (xitter.cf/exvulsec/status/209152…) The root cause has nothing to do with spot oracle price manipulation! (While it is true that the protocol uses the spot oracle price.) Instead, the attacker stole the unclaimed LP fees with a "sandwich" attack. Here is why: The mint and redeem functions both require the input and output to be proportional to the `deposited LP + unclaimed fees + idle balance` in the two tokens. That means, if the pool holds x:y of token A:token B (in the LP position, plus fees and idle balance), your input/output will also be proportional to x:y. Thus, you cannot manipulate the price to fool the vault, because no matter how the tokens are priced, your minted vault shares are simply proportional to your deposit relative to the actual amounts of the two tokens. However, when burn() is called, the fees are collected. These fees are then compounded into the pool. This creates the vulnerability. The attacker then performs: swap1 → mint → swap2 → burn → swap3. After swap1, and later when burn() is called, the collected fees add more liquidity back to the LP, so when swapping back in swap3, the attacker can end up with more tokens. To sum up, the root cause is an "atomic sandwich attack" on the idle balance plus unclaimed swap fees, not "oracle manipulation". This also explains why the hacker left a significant amount lot of LP in the vault untouched. Fun fact: I reviewed their code back when Gamma (another Uniswap V3 liquidity manager) was exploited in 2024. Arrakis's vault requires proportional input/output, so it is not vulnerable to the same issue (while Gamma allows you to input tokens in any proportion and reads the spot oracle price).
🚨 EXPLOIT ALERT | Ethereum @ArrakisFinance The Arrakis V1 / G-UNI ENS–WETH liquidity-manager vault (0x7c687f775a3b73bbab0e15832f24caab5d53bdde) was drained via a Uniswap V3 spot-price manipulation. Root cause: the vault's mint() and burn() value its Uniswap V3 position off the instantaneous pool.slot0() spot price, with NO TWAP or deviation guard on the user deposit/withdraw path. The vault does have a TWAP check — but it only guards the manager's rebalance() swap, never mint/burn. Attack flow (one tx): 1. Flash-loan 1,800 WETH from Morpho Blue 2. Swap ~145 WETH → ENS on the UniV3 pool to skew the tick / spot price 3. mint() vault shares at the distorted valuation (deposit ~1,253 WETH + ~13,160 ENS → ~4,487 shares) 4. Swap back to restore the price 5. burn() the shares → redeem a richer token mix than deposited 6. Convert surplus, repay the loan Attacker profit ≈ 2.94 WETH. No privileged access required — pure permissionless flash-loan + spot manipulation. Attacker: etherscan.io/address/0xa3B09… Exploit contract: etherscan.io/address/0x028d9… Vault: etherscan.io/address/0x7c687… Tx: etherscan.io/tx/0x6ae3af4b2f…

Mike Singletary says at 12 years old, before he was even allowed to play football, he wrote down a vision for his life that included the NFL, becoming an All-Pro, reaching the Super Bowl and buying his mom a house “I was the smallest of the 10 and the least talented. We were a Pentecostal family. My father was a Pentecostal pastor, and so we could not play sports. My father and my mom divorced when I was 12.” “My brother Grady moved back home when I was 12 years old, and he was killed in an automobile accident six months after my dad left. My mom challenged me a couple weeks after my brother’s funeral. She says, ‘Son, I want you to know that there’s greatness in you.’” “She said, ‘I’m going to ask you something that’s unfair, but I need to know if you can do this. I need to know if you can be the man of the house.’ I was like, ‘Me? You want me to be the man of the house? I still suck my thumb.’ But I said, ‘Okay. I can do that.’” “I walked in my room. I got out a sheet of paper and I began to write out what I knew — what I didn’t know then, but I know now, was my vision statement. Find a way to get a scholarship to go to college.” “Get my degree, in which I’d be the first in my family to do so. Become an All-American. Get drafted and go to the NFL. Buy my mom a house and take care of her for the rest of her life. Become an All-Pro, go to the Super Bowl, and own my own business.” “I wrote that out and I put it on the wall. I looked at that every day. Before I went to bed at night, I looked at it. Before I went to school in the morning, I looked at it. That was my driving force. I wasn’t even playing football at the time. I had to beg my mom to let me play.”

bought $PUMP here on the reclaim of old support @ .001675 thesis: making 30-40M a month during bear market for onchain, believe that $SOL will dominate retail activity again this cycle and pump.fun will be most likely beneficiary of this activity if that happens hard for me to believe that they don't see the opportunity in front of them by providing a stimulus package to the trenches w/ the airdrop, especially given historical precedent of how Jito & Jupiter jumpstarted onchain activity in late 2023, if they do airdrop 300M+ then volumes/attention/activity should improve meaningfully regularly competing w/ hyperliquid & polymarket for most profitable crypto protocol also just hard for me to believe that they don't want the token to do well as they own a meaningful amount of it which just started unlocking & their entire business is centered around allowing retail to speculate on tokenization invalidation at lows during unlock selloff around .0014
