“When you destroy Grandpa’s pile of freshly raked leaves!” 🍂🤣 With autumn leaves already falling, it seemed like the perfect time to share one of my favorite memories of Loki again! That boy absolutely LOVED playing in the leaves, especially when Grandpa had just finished raking them into a nice, neat pile! He'd dive right in, scatter them everywhere, and then sit proudly in the middle of his masterpiece like he'd just accomplished something wonderful! 😂🐾 Grandpa might not have appreciated having to rake those leaves all over again, but Loki couldn't have been happier! Oh, how I miss watching my sweet Lugnut enjoy life's simplest little pleasures. I'd give anything to watch him tear through one more pile of autumn leaves. Some memories never lose their ability to make you smile, even when they bring a little tear to your eye. ❤️🐾🍂

Mary Beatrice Davidson Kenner (1912–2006) Some of the most remarkable people in history never became household names. They didn't seek fame or recognition. They simply saw problems that needed solving and found ways to make life better for others. Mary Beatrice Davidson Kenner was one of those extraordinary individuals. ❤️ Born on May 17, 1912, in Monroe, North Carolina, Mary grew up in a family that encouraged creativity and invention. Her father, Sidney Davidson, was also an inventor, and from an early age, Mary showed the same curiosity and determination. She was constantly thinking of ways to improve ordinary things that people used every day. One of her most important innovations was an improved sanitary belt with a moisture-resistant pocket designed to hold a menstrual pad securely and prevent leaks. At a time when women's personal hygiene needs were rarely discussed openly, Mary recognized a problem affecting millions of women and developed a practical solution. But her journey was anything but easy. Although she developed the idea years earlier, she did not receive a patent for her sanitary belt until 1957. When a company expressed interest in marketing her invention, that opportunity reportedly disappeared after representatives discovered she was Black. Rather than allowing discrimination to end her ambitions, Mary continued inventing. Over her lifetime, she received five U.S. patents, including inventions and improvements involving bathroom tissue holders, a tray and pocket attachment for walkers, and a back washer designed to help people reach difficult areas while bathing. What makes Mary's story so inspiring is that she wasn't working in a famous laboratory with a team of engineers. She was a self-taught inventor who used her imagination, persistence, and understanding of everyday needs to create solutions that could help others. Mary passed away on January 13, 2006, at the age of 93. Although her name is unfamiliar to many, her legacy reminds us that some of the greatest contributions come from ordinary people who refuse to stop asking, “How can I make this better?” Mary's life is a reminder that brilliance isn't measured by fame, wealth, or a college degree. It's measured by what we contribute and the lives we touch along the way. Tonight, we remember Mary Beatrice Davidson Kenner, a woman whose determination and ingenuity deserve a place in American history. Rest in peace, Mary. Your name deserves to be remembered, and your contributions deserve to be celebrated. ❤️🙏

Illinois taxpayers are feeling squeezed from every direction, and Governor JB Pritzker's administration deserves serious scrutiny over the financial burden families are carrying. Between property taxes, gas taxes, tolls, and the rising cost of everyday necessities, hardworking Illinois residents are asking how much more they can afford. Darren Bailey is proposing changes, including suspending the gas tax, addressing tollway increases, and reviewing state government spending and accountability. Illinois families deserve meaningful tax relief, responsible spending, and answers about where their hard-earned money is going. Voters should examine these proposals and decide what kind of leadership they want in Springfield. Vote @DarrenBaileyIL Vote Red🇺🇸

R.E.D. Friday 🇺🇸❤️ Remember Everyone Deployed While we go about our daily lives, thousands of brave American service members remain deployed far from home, missing birthdays, holidays, and precious moments with those they love. Behind every uniform is a family waiting, a loved one praying, and an empty chair at the dinner table. Their sacrifices should never be forgotten, nor should the strength and courage of the families who wait for their safe return. May God protect every man and woman serving far from home, give their families comfort, and guide them safely back into the arms of those who love them. Until they ALL come home, we remember. 🇺🇸🙏

Love how Charlie Kirk never backed down, no matter who challenged him or what accusations were thrown his way. He stood his ground, spoke his mind, and never hesitated to defend what he believed in. Charlie had a way of challenging people while still treating them as human beings. He believed in conversation, even with those who disagreed with him. To so many of us, Charlie was a man who loved people, stood by his convictions, and refused to be silenced. That is the Charlie Kirk so many will remember. ❤️🇺🇸 tiktok.com/@powerdebateusa/v…
