God willing, my goal for the new year is to finish making #AtlanteanExodus ttrpg—at least the final ruleset—the art will take longer to commission.

One would never call asking the replicator for Boeuf Bourguignon "cooking."
Because you didn't do anything.
No matter how precise your proompt was.

Red Stapler of Power
Wondrous Item, Rare (Requires Attunement)
"I believe you have my stapler..."
While attuned to this item, you gain 1 additional 3rd-level spell slot that can only be used to cast Fireball. When cast this way, the spell manifests as a molten-hot explosive staple.
“[Y]ou have no idea what your life will be like tomorrow. You are a puff of smoke that appears briefly and then disappears. Instead you should say, “If the Lord wills it, we shall live to do this or that.” ”
- James 4:14b-15
I hated the original Baldur's Gate because of that chaotic evil halfling that joins your party early on, until I realized I could send him into a fight and let him die.
I had to argue to NOT add critical hits as a house rule to OSRIC, among other things.
PC and NPC hit points were not designed to account for critical hits in this edition.
"I am justified by faith and not by works!"
"But faith without works is useless!"
"Do you have any works?"
"..."
"...no. You?"
"..."
"No."
I forgot to mention... we didn't die! But one of the characters did drop below zero in a fight against goblins.
The cleric used her one prepared cure light wounds spell and brought him back above zero hit points. He's recuperating for a week at an inn.
Always makes me laugh when I read this:
“Do you want proof, you ignoramus, that faith without works is useless?” (James 2:20)
I had a dream that I was walking down a street near my house. As I walked, I spotted several wild monkeys and tigers prowling along the sidewalk.
I thought, "Someone had imported and released wild monkeys and tigers on my neighborhood!"

I love how Japan brought over the capybaras as an experimental food source, discovered they weren't appetizing, and then bred them as cute zoo animals, only to find that they loved hot springs.
Now, they're a national symbol of relaxation and healing.
“…who by faith conquered kingdoms, did what was righteous, obtained the promises; they closed the mouths of lions, put out raging fires, escaped the devouring sword; out of weakness they were made powerful, became strong in battle, & turned back foreign invaders.”
