~PIECES OF ME~ I changed every piece of me… Hoping to be good enough for you. I changed the edges of my smile… Rearranged my thoughts, so I could see your skies. But sad visions of us interrupted my thoughts. Seeing you there… My silhouette absent from your reach. Blue skies. Your smile. You're happy… Without me.

In 1953, Enrico Fermi, John Pasta, Stanislaw Ulam and a young programmer named Mary Tsingou used one of the first computers, the MANIAC at Los Alamos, to watch a vibrating chain of weights share its energy out evenly, just as everyone expected. One day, the run was accidentally left going long past its cutoff, and when they came back the energy had flowed almost entirely back into the original wave, as if the chain remembered where it started. That surprise helped launch the modern science of Nonlinear Waves, and for decades Tsingou, who wrote the code, was left out of the problem's name.

Dumb Scrolling Have you ever read her very first post, dived that deep, so far below? Have you ever lingered on a post so long, where words spill past two-eighty’s glow? I know the thrill of those fleeting highs— but don’t you ever crave something more? Can the number of likes reveal your soul? Yet I see the path you choose to roam— dumb scrolling, on and on. Grok poetry

Nine more lessons from my 3D book about energy, now covering the whole GCSE energy topic: kinetic, gravitational and elastic energy, heating, power, efficiency, energy resources and conservation of energy. Built with Opus 5.5 and Three.js. The full book ↓
Education doesn’t have to be text and flat diagrams. So I’m building a 3D book about energy that students can play with: 10 lessons to predict, test and prove. Built with Opus 5.5 and Three.js. Try Lesson 1, Energy stores: everyday objects and where their energy is kept ↓
