#MexicoGP 🇲🇽 | Lewis Hamilton post qualifying: “It’s an amazing feeling. Firstly, big big thank you to my family. I really wouldn’t be here without them. I texted my mum today at 11:11, got the tattoo here, it’s her birthday, and everytime I see 11:11 on my phone it reminds me that I’ve got to text her.” “I came in this weekend with a different approach. Came here on Wednesday, which I never ever do. But we really wanted to look at where we’ve been the last few races, where it’s gone wrong, where we can improve and I think we changed, we made a small tweak to how we work this weekend.” “I really felt, all weekend, that we had the possibility to be at the front. Today we looked at everything, wind direction, track temperature dropping through the session and what that means to settings you need to get the tyres working etc…” “But to get the pole finally get a pole with Ferrari, it just takes me back to when I was a kid watching Michael get those poles and thinking how cool would it be to do that?”

“congrats Hammy on the pole” 😭😭😭😭

Lewis Hamilton breaks the record for most pole positions in F1 (105), previously held by Lewis Hamilton (104).
