Any form of resistance that happens to the east of France/Germany/Italy is a color revolution to these morons, they don't care about people's grievances with their decade-long leaders, all that matters is America wants them out so overthrowing them is bad actually 🤡

men thanking their wives (and mothers) in speeches are always like thank you for sacrificing all of your hopes and dreams so mine could come true… what a depressing reminder of the world that we live in

📺 “We reported events one-sidedly for years”: Serbian TV apologizes to viewers after Vučić's party loses the election Radio Television of Vojvodina (RTV) opened its news broadcast with footage of celebrations following the Student List's election victory — scenes it had failed to show the previous evening. “For years, we failed to fulfill our duty. We kept silent, turned a blind eye, reported events one-sidedly, and failed to ask the necessary questions. For that, we owe our viewers an apology,” news anchor Goran Eror said. Following the controversy, RTV's acting editor-in-chief Nenad Čačić resigned. A similar incident occurred in Hungary, where state television also apologized to viewers after Viktor Orbán's election defeat.

In 2024, Vučić signed a strategic partnership with the EU on raw materials, restoring Rio Tinto's licence for mega lithium mine in the Jadar Valley. The mass protests against this project were instrumental in building the movement that won the election. 'European values'.
By voting in record numbers, the Serbian people have made clear what is most important to them. Yesterday, they voted strongly and courageously to commit to European values. 1/2

Vučić was ready to make Serbia into a lithium colony for the German auto industry and in doing so to contaminate riverways and drinking water for a large portion of Serbia’s population. My guess it’s why German mainstream media like the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung tried to slander the student movement for so long. They relentlessly went after the students in their coverage with false claims. I don’t think people realize the protests came about because of a situation that was truly existential.
It’s crazy Vucic had a German advisor since 2013 paid by the German government. They were making deals about lithium behind the scenes.
