People outside of #UX design may assume our job is just about being creative, but we’re often working within strict parameters, making sacrifices, and likely saying yes to things we wish we could decline.

hey @materialdesign, I'm loving the motion updates on the m3 site. I was trying to dig into your motion token work, but the page doesn't seem to load any information for me. Thoughts? m3.material.io/m3/pages/moti…

Hey @figma, I was curious if the new video prototyping feature provides options to trigger videos on scroll. I'm currently developing a prototype that uses full-width videos for multiple sections of a page. Interaction options feel limited, but maybe I'm missing something?

As I stroll on TikTok, I keep seeing parents video their children reacting to The Little Mermaid trailer. So instead of focusing so much on the negative, I thought I’d show a thread of the little black kids who are excited to see their favorite princess look like them.
Mountain Bluebird near Grand Teton NP. Wonderful birds to watch and my first time seeing them. This one hung out next to me for quite a while!

They may be digital, but your illustrations depend on the people who use them to bring them to life.

I was interviewed by Indeed Design about my work designing for safety. I loved the opportunity to get to talk about how it's not our fault as technologists for not already knowing this stuff - but it is our responsibility to educate ourselves.

Discovered this turkey vulture using the wind to hover along the coastline of Monterey, CA (Sand City Beach). Thanks to some bluffs I was high enough to get a top view. Unsure what it was hunting, but it was amazing to watch! #BirdTwitter #birdphotography
hey #birdtwitter, with the Merlin app Sound ID update from @CornellBirds, what recommendations do you have for external microphones for the iPhone? I'm finding a lot of "for Youtube" style mics, but I'd love something with more range and focus like a shotgun mic.
Front view of that male Anna's color. Almost blends in perfectly with the flowers.

Male Anna's #hummingbird showing off this morning. I found this view of the backside really neat. Amazing how stretched out those little feathers can get.

New to birding! Caught a good pic of this bird, but I'm having a hard time identifying it. I'm in Santa Cruz, CA. Any ideas? I thought it was a robin, but the feather and chest color is throwing me off when I look online.
