This @Arch_Prime teaser is clean. Looks calm, serious and premium, like a real financial brand. And it fits what they're building: one account where your assets can earn, where you can borrow against them and trade, with risk managed across everything you hold. Basically a bank for your crypto, except you keep control and your wallet signs every move. Arch Prime is coming and I'm watching closely. You should too. gArch 🧡

Bitcoin is one of the world's largest assets, but earning income from it isn't straightforward. That's what caught my attention about @HoneyB_BTC. I've been researching how the project aims to connect Bitcoin holders with traditional financial markets. Here's what stands out: - $5M seed funding - Native BTC used as collateral - Institutional income strategies - A connection between Bitcoin and traditional finance The idea is to let users borrow against their BTC and invest the borrowed funds in income generating strategies, rather than selling their Bitcoin. But the real questions are how the collateral is protected, what borrowing costs users face, and how much income remains after fees. That's what I'll be watching as HoneyB develops.
doing some research.

Risk & Liquidation
Let's be precise about this, because vague liquidation talk helps nobody🙁 Every credit market carries risk. Borrow against collateral, and if that collateral's value drops far enough, the position has to close, automatically, before the debt exceeds what's backing it. That's not a flaw in the system. That's the system working exactly as designed, protecting lenders from loss and keeping the entire market solvent. What matters is how that liquidation happens. Deterministic means the outcome isn't up for debate once the trigger is hit, it executes, in the next block, at the price the market actually supports. No waiting on a human. No "best effort." A late liquidation isn't slow, it's a loss waiting to land on someone else's balance sheet. Risk doesn't disappear because the infrastructure is fast. It gets priced, enforced, and settled honestly instead of quietly, which is the only version of risk management that deserves trust.

Learning ArchVM until mainnet I'm gonna keep it simple as possible. Day 15 of ArchVM: why do validators have skin in the game? Arch uses stake-weighted delegated proof-of-stake. Validators are chosen in proportion to their staked @Arch , and they put that stake at risk. Add threshold signing on top, and no single validator can sign alone.
Learning ArchVM until mainnet Day 14 of ArchVM: who goes first? @Arch 's consensus sets the order of transactions. It isn't decided by who pays the most. A leader chosen by stake collects pending transactions and orders them first in, first out. Each slot also has backup leaders in case the main one fails.

Finishing the technology is one milestone. Building a product that people have a reason to keep using is another. At the @Arch Discord event yesterday, I learned something quite interesting about the team's journey. The Arch protocol was finished in February 2026 but instead of stopping at just the protocol, the team decided to build a product on top of it. You'd probably agree with me that crypto has no shortage of projects that generate alot of excitement around a launch. Eventually that excitement fades and when it does... Who keeps using the product? What brings new users in? what makes the product valuable enough for businesses to build around it? My takeaway from the discussion is that Arch Prime is an attempt to tackle that challenge at the product level. The vision brings together earning, lending, trading and collateral across supported chains, addressing the problem of fragmented liquidity. The team also discussed an integrated trading desk, with PropAMM connecting Arch Prime to 60+ exchanges, and the role archUSD could play in addressing the bootstrapping problem. To me, these features are pieces of a bigger product question... How can we turn blockchain infrastructure into a financial product people have a reason to return to? I believe @Arch_Prime is the answer to that question At the end of the day, launching gets people to look but building something useful gives them a reason to stay. Arch world order 🟠🚀

How does Arch distribute signing authority across validators while making the signing process more robust? It starts with 𝐅𝐑𝐎𝐒𝐓 and 𝐑𝐎𝐀𝐒𝐓. Let's break down their components, benefits, and key enhancements. 1. FROST: Distributing Signing Authority FROST (𝐅𝐥𝐞𝐱𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐑𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝-𝐎𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐳𝐞𝐝 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐫𝐫 𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐝) enables multiple participants to collectively produce a single valid Schnorr signature without any one participant holding the complete private signing key. Key Components 1. 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐮𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: Validators collectively generate a shared public key while maintaining separate private key shares. 2. 𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐝 𝐒𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐬: A predefined threshold (t-of-n) of validators must cooperate to produce a valid signature. 3. 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭: Each validator maintains its own private key share, distributing signing authority across participants. 4. 𝐒𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐀𝐠𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: Partial signature contributions are combined into a single Schnorr signature verifiable against the group public key. Benefits of FROST 1. 𝐄𝐧𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐝 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲 ✦Distributes signing authority across validators. ✦Reduces dependence on a single signing entity. ✦Uses cryptographic mechanisms to protect signature validity. 2. 𝐁𝐢𝐭𝐜𝐨𝐢𝐧 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 ➩Integrates with Bitcoin's Schnorr signature scheme. ➩Produces a standard Schnorr signature for transaction authorization. ➩Supports Arch's Bitcoin settlement architecture. 3. 𝐄𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐲 ➩Minimizes communication rounds between signers. ➩Supports optimized single-round signing under ideal conditions. ➩Produces a constant-size signature, regardless of the number of validators. 2. 𝐑𝐎𝐀𝐒𝐓: Making Threshold Signing More Robust ROAST (𝐑𝐨𝐛𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐀𝐬𝐲𝐧𝐜𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐫𝐫 𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐝 𝐒𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐬) strengthens threshold signing by coordinating multiple concurrent signing sessions with different subsets of signers. This helps produce a valid signature despite disruptive participants or network issues, provided the required threshold of honest signers participates. Key Enhancements 1. 𝐀𝐬𝐲𝐧𝐜𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 ➩Allows signing to progress without strict timing requirements. ➩Helps signing sessions continue despite network delays. ➩Supports operation under adverse network conditions. 2. 𝐑𝐨𝐛𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐀𝐠𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐭 𝐀𝐭𝐭𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐬 ➩Helps signing continue despite malicious or uncooperative participants. ➩Identifies and excludes disruptive signers without restarting the entire process. ➩Improves signing reliability under the protocol's assumptions. 3. 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 ➩Arch documents leader rotation within its consensus architecture. ➩Leader selection incorporates stake weight and randomness. ➩Backup leaders support fault tolerance if a primary leader fails. 4. 𝐋𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐆𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐬 ➩Supports progress when sufficient honest participants remain available. ➩Helps the protocol handle unresponsive validators. ➩Arch's consensus architecture includes mechanisms for failure recovery and network resynchronization. 3. Why FROST and ROAST Matter to Arch FROST distributes signing authority across validators, while ROAST improves the reliability of the signing process when participants are unavailable or act maliciously. Together, they enable @Arch validator network to collectively authorize Bitcoin transactions without any single validator holding the complete private signing key. The key distinction: 𝐅𝐑𝐎𝐒𝐓 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐮𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐮𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐫ity. 𝐑𝐎𝐀𝐒𝐓 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐧𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐞 𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐬. 📖 Read the official Arch Network documentation: arch.network/docs/core-conce…

For years the strategy was simple: stack & hold Now the next edge is turning those stacks into productive capital, earning yield, borrowing against them and managing everything as one position. Arch Prime is making that possible on-chain with native Bitcoin collateral.

Lets makes BTC work beyond holding with @Arch_Prime BTC is one of the most valuable assets in crypto. But holding BTC is only beginning. Using it as collateral, borrowing against it & deploying that capital requires proper financial infrastructure. & It's possible with Arch.🧵

Chapter one was easy: buy bitcoin, hold bitcoin, don't sell. Chapter two is the part nobody solved. How do you put it to work without wrapping it, bridging it, or handing it to someone? Native $BTC as collateral. Borrow against the stack, never sell the stack. That's why I'm watching @Arch_Prime

1/ #Bitcoin is the biggest asset in crypto and the laziest. Most of it just sits there. @Arch_Prime might be the first serious attempt to change that without making holders leave Bitcoin. Here's what has me paying attention 🧵

Curious to know what exactly @Arch_Prime and @Arch is building? Here's a well detailed explanation. According to its current documentation, Arch is an independent Layer 1 blockchain designed specifically for Bitcoin related credit and financial settlement. Arch intention is to provide infrastructure that will support this six key area; 1. Bitcoin-backed lending. 2. Collateral management. 3. Automated liquidations. 4. Credit and risk management. 5. Financial strategies built around Bitcoin. 6. More sophisticated financial products that depend on reliable clearing. not simply a marketplace for buying and selling Bitcoin. Nor is its current thesis merely about launching another Bitcoin token. Arch emphasis is on the machinery behind financial obligations: how credit is issued, how positions are monitored, and how debts are settled when conditions deteriorate. Arch also distinguishes the network from Arch Prime, the financial business built on top of it. Arch Network provides the underlying infrastructure; Arch Prime is its initial major business using that infrastructure for Bitcoin-backed financial services. Both @Arch_Prime and @Arch have some difference between them they're visible in the diagram illustrated below and thier components includes; 1. Arch network 2. ArchVM 3. Arch validators 4. Arch Prime 5. archUSD These components work together, but they are not interchangeable. You could be wondering why they focus on Bitcoin instead of Ethereum or Solana? Well that is simple Arch believes that Ethereum already has a mature smart contract ecosystem and Solana supports high throughput applications and a large DeFi ecosystem so why the need to build another network? Arch’s answer is that it is targeting a specific gap in Bitcoin’s financial infrastructure. Since Bitcoin has its own monetary properties, liquidity, ownership model, and network history. And some Bitcoin holders just wanted to access financial applications without simply selling BTC or relying on a conventional wrapped-token arrangement. Arch main aim is to give developers and financial businesses a specialized environment for those activities. And note that Arch is not trying to prove that Bitcoin is better than Ethereum or Solana at everything they are only trying to make Bitcoin backed credit and settlement more practical through a purpose built system. And it's succession depends on its execution, security, adoption, and ability to attract sufficient liquidity. Stay tuned for next article discussing what makes this thesis interesting.
