@jumperapp is @lifiprotocol's bridge aggregator frontend and aims to be a 'super-app' for DeFi users. As much as I think that the LIFI team is cracked, the 'Exchange' tab (and pretty much the entire app) screams missed opportunity in the Consumer Product-UX department.

Prediction markets are quietly becoming an asset class.
For decades, building wealth was about jobs, savings, and compounding. That path feels broken today wages are flat, assets are expensive, and safe returns don’t move the needle.
Younger generations are naturally more risk-on.
That’s why crypto, options, memecoins and now prediction markets are taking off. They let you trade directly on outcomes: will this happen, or not?
No need to wait for management, central banks, or earnings. Just probabilities and risk.
As they grow, prediction markets don’t just reflect reality they can shape it. Odds on elections sway voters. Markets on recessions can shift company behavior.
That reflexivity makes them more than a niche gamble.
The numbers:
-$7.7B+ Polymarket volume in 2025 YTD
-$3.3B bet on the 2024 U.S. election
-150K+ new wallets in 2024
-565% industry growth in Q3 2024
Projects like FootballFun show where this is going: blending fantasy sports with tradable shares of players, running weekly tournaments, and turning performance into points and market value.
It’s sports speculation in a prediction market wrapper.
The big challenge is liquidity. Unlike stocks or options, most prediction markets don’t have easy hedges, so market-making is tough.
That’s why new models (like AMMs for short-term markets) are being tested. Whoever cracks liquidity at scale could unlock the real growth curve.
Every generation has its defining asset class. For Gen Z and beyond, prediction markets might be it not just because they’re fun, but because they fit the world they live in.

Alright, let's talk about something that should keep every crypto enthusiast, especially those working with decentralized infrastructure, up at night: Quantum computers.
We've all heard the buzz, but the reality is, they're inching closer to breaking our current encryption.
And one of the biggest targets? Lattice-based cryptography, the backbone of many "post-quantum" systems.
➣ Why Should We Care About Lattice Reduction?
Lattice-based crypto, like LWE and Ring-LWE, is considered a strong contender for post-quantum security. But, its security hinges on the difficulty of solving lattice problems.
Think of a lattice as a regular arrangement of points in space.
Lattice reduction algorithms aim to find short vectors within these lattices, which can reveal the secret keys used in these cryptosystems.
➣ Quantum Algorithms: A Game Changer
Classical lattice reduction algorithms are computationally intensive, making them impractical for breaking sufficiently large keys.
However, quantum algorithms change the game. Shor's algorithm, famously, can break RSA.
While it doesn't directly apply to lattices, researchers are developing optimized quantum algorithms specifically for lattice reduction.
➣ What's Being Worked On?
-Quantum Sieving Algorithms: These algorithms leverage quantum superposition to explore the lattice space more efficiently than classical sieving methods.
They're showing promising speedups for finding short vectors.
-Quantum Annealing: While not strictly a "quantum algorithm" in the same vein as Shor's, quantum annealing can be used to approximate solutions to lattice problems.
Researchers are exploring its potential for breaking lattice-based crypto.
-Hybrid Quantum-Classical Approaches: Often, the most effective solutions combine the strengths of both quantum and classical computing.
These approaches leverage quantum algorithms for specific subroutines within classical lattice reduction algorithms.
➣ The Impact on LWE/Ring-LWE
The development of efficient quantum lattice reduction algorithms has direct implications for the security of LWE and Ring-LWE-based cryptosystems.
As these algorithms improve, the key sizes needed to maintain security increase.
This means we'll need to re-evaluate our security parameters and potentially migrate to larger keys.
➣ What Does This Mean for Decentralized Infrastructure?
Many decentralized systems rely on post-quantum cryptography to ensure long-term security. If quantum computers can break lattice-based crypto, these systems could be vulnerable.
-Upgrading to Larger Keys: We need to be prepared to upgrade our systems to use larger key sizes if quantum attacks become a practical threat.
-Exploring Alternative Post-Quantum Schemes: Researchers are actively exploring other post-quantum cryptographic schemes, such as code-based cryptography and hash-based signatures.
We need to diversify our cryptographic toolbox.
-Staying Informed: The field of quantum computing and post-quantum cryptography is rapidly evolving.
We need to stay informed about the latest research and developments.
➣ The Bottom Line
The quantum threat to lattice-based crypto is real. While we're not facing an immediate crisis, we need to be proactive.
By investing in research, exploring alternative solutions, and staying informed, we can ensure that our decentralized infrastructure remains secure in the quantum era.
Let’s keep this conversation going.

After giving you a glimpse of all 4 of our current DePIN integrations, we're kicking off a series to highlight each one's unique contributions. Today, let's explore more about @AethirCloud and how their innovative approach to decentralized GPU computing aligns perfectly with Parasail's mission to enhance liquidity and empower DePIN ecosystems.
Aethir is a globally distributed cloud compute network that aggregates idle GPU resources from diverse sources, addressing the growing demand for high-performance computing in AI, gaming, and virtualized applications. By creating a decentralized marketplace, Aethir enables resource owners to monetize their unused GPUs and provides users with affordable, low-latency compute power. This platform aims to democratize AI development by making powerful resources accessible to smaller companies and developers, while also supporting cloud gaming and real-time rendering.
The Aethir Delegation Pool simplifies DePIN staking by allowing token holders to delegate their ATH, eliminating the need for hardware management or provider selection. This pool optimizes returns through automated delegation and reduces risk by distributing stakes across multiple providers, making DePIN participation accessible and efficient.
pATH is a liquid staking token representing staked ATH within the Aethir network. When users stake their ATH, they receive pATH, which can be freely traded and used in DeFi, providing liquidity while retaining staking rewards and risks.
In our next posts we will deep even deeper into the mechanics of Parasail’s Aethir integration, and how users benefit from it. Stay tuned!

In my 20 year professional carrer, one of the most boring things has been to deal with crypto VCs. This year I raised from them and I am still surprised by how stupid some of them are. Big part of them never had a real job in their life. They just analyze your abilities by checking where you were born and in which university you studied.
One of the reasons I want to build Rogue is because I believe in the tech but also because I want to do avoid dealing with VCs.
@CryptoHayes explained better than myself the reasons of why things are the way they are:
“Let’s apply this framework to understand how a VC muppet raises money and allocates it.
To amass sufficient capital to invest in enough companies in order to find a winner (e.g. Facebook, Google, Tencent, Bytedance etc.), the top VC firms need a fuck-ton of capital. This capital comes from endowments, pension funds, insurance companies, sovereign wealth funds, and family offices. All of these pools of capital are managed by TradFi peeps. The managers must meet their fiduciary duty to their clients by investing only in “suitable” VC funds. That means, by and large, they must invest in VCs managed by “qualified” and “experienced” professionals. These subjective requirements mean that principals are educated in the same small set of elite global universities (Harvard, Oxford, Peking, etc.) and all started their careers at large bulge bracket investment banks (JPM, GS), asset managers (Blackrock, Fidelity), or big tech firms (Microsoft, Google, Facebook, Tencent, etc). If you don’t have this background, you don’t possess the requisite experience and pedigree that enables you to intelligently invest other people’s money, according to the TradFi employment gatekeepers. It is a homogeneous blob of folks who look the same, talk the same, dress the same, and live in the same global elite enclaves.
The dilemma facing an allocator to VC funds is that if they take a chance and invest in a fund managed by folks with non-standard backgrounds and that fund blows up, the allocator could lose their job. But if they play it safe, invest in funds managed by “fit and proper” individuals, and this fund blows up, they can chalk it up to bad luck and remain employed in the asset management business. If you fail alone, you lose your job. If you fail with others, you keep your job. Because the primary goal of a TradFi muppet is to retain their highly paid, low-skill job, they will minimize career risk by playing it safe and allocating funds run by folks with the “appropriate” background.
If VC funds are selected based on how well the managing partners fit into an accepted stereotype, then that same manager will only invest in companies or projects where the founders fit the stereotype of a “founder”. The business-focused founder’s CV must contain stints at large consulting or investment banking firms, and they are expected to have attended one of a particular set of global elite universities. The technical founders must have experience working for highly successful big tech companies and hold advanced degrees from universities that everyone knows produce great engineers. Finally, because we are social beings, we feel more comfortable investing in folks who are within close proximity. Silicon Valley VCs invest only in companies based in the Bay Area of California. Chinese VC firms expect their portfolio companies to be based in Beijing or Shenzhen.
The net result is an echo-chamber of sameness. Everyone looks, talks, feels, believes, and lives in the same place. Therefore, everyone succeeds or fails together. This is the perfect milieu for a TradFi VC muppet whose goal is to minimize career risk.
When crypto project founders begged for VC capital to fund their mostly worthless projects in the wake of the ICO mania bubble bursting, they made a deal with the devil. To raise capital from VCs, mostly based in San Francisco, New York, London, and Beijing, crypto project founders had to change.
