Over the past few days Discord's CTO has hinted at a big update: a rewrite of the desktop client that moves it away from Electron to a fully native client in Rust.

Ah nice, XREAL Aura's. Oh wait, im blind and they don't give me an adjustable knob like Viture does. I love wearable products that don't account for half the population.

Probably have been on some of the longest development benders using this thing so far which is.. crazy to say. It's super comfortable to use and I really can't pull myself away from it.

Been using the Surface Ultra (RTX Spark) for about 2 days now and wow, It's crazy to say I'm finally comfortable never using a MacBook Pro again. It's fast, its elegant, and it lasts a really long time and the screen is beautiful and super bright for day time use and outdoor use. Cannot recommend one enough if you're eager to get away from macOS.

if you're still using PHP or Next.js in 2026, you did this to yourself.

so relaxing to finally see some good design concepts again, because it means my job is easier because I don't have to guess what people are into.
