Trump’s biggest mistake heading into the midterms was his constant flip-flopping on Iran. Nobody would have objected to him going in and finishing the job. But instead, he kept announcing bogus peace deals that were never real, seemingly to manipulate the markets.
Last April, Trump had the opportunity to cripple the Iranian regime once and for all, but he backed off, giving Tehran the impression of American weakness and allowing this conflict to drag on.
This could have been over months ago, oil prices could have fallen, and the economy could have been in a much stronger position. Instead, Trump’s endless pauses, fake deals, and JD Vance’s push for a phony diplomatic agreement cost Republicans dearly at the ballot box.

The central event of Christianity involves an innocent man unjustly condemned and publicly executed.
The Crucifixion demonstrates the danger of giving human authorities the irreversible power to take a life.
It also presents forgiveness, rather than vengeance, as Christ's response to those responsible for His death.
Yes, the Old Testament prescribed capital punishment. But Christians also believe that Christ is the fulfillment of the Law.
When a crowd gathered to stone a sinner, Jesus intervened. When He was publicly executed, He prayed for His executioners.
God tells us He takes no pleasure in the death of the wicked (Ezekiel 33:11).
There is a profound difference between recognizing the state's authority to punish and claiming God wants Christians to gather and watch people die.

On October 8, at approximately 4:00 PM ET, ICE officers were conducting a targeted enforcement operation in the Bronx, New York, to arrest a criminal illegal alien from the Dominican Republic with a prior criminal conviction for grand larceny, and multiple prior arrests for assault, robbery, possession of drugs, and weapons possession. He has associations to the Trinitarios gang, the same gang who brutally shot a CBP officer last year.
This criminal illegal alien was arrested by the NYPD on December 7, 2023, but was released into the community a few days later by reckless Democrat sanctuary policies that put American lives at risk.
During the incident, an ICE officer discharged his weapon and the criminal illegal alien was injured.
ICE officers immediately rendered aid. The individual is alive and at a local hospital. The FBI and HSI are on the scene. The incident remains under investigation. More information will be shared as it becomes available.
When dangerous illegal aliens are released back onto the streets by radical sanctuary politicians, our officers are forced to make arrests at large in the community in unpredictable and dangerous environments. Our officers should not have to risk their lives, and innocent Americans should not have to face unnecessary danger, because sanctuary politicians refuse to cooperate with federal law enforcement.

I’ve noted many times over the years that “Islamism” is a Western construct designed to distance Islam from the crimes done in its name and in accord with its teachings. There is no concept of “Islamism” in Islamic theology or law; Islam is inherently political, and all the elements of “Islamism” are found in standard Islamic teaching across all mainstream sects and schools of jurisprudence. Cowards and trimmers still use it to court mainstream approval, but those who are more interested in truth and accuracy than mainstream acceptance and big donor checks do not use it.
