A 20-year-old company isn't supposed to feel like a startup. But holy sh*t, @Wistia does right now. Last week we got the team together for our business review, and Wednesday was hands down my favorite day at work since 2006. Every time I turned around, someone was showing me something new. An idea someone had that morning? Already built by lunch. A conversation that used to kick off three months of meetings? Someone had a working version five minutes later. I was bouncing from person to person, completely overwhelmed with dopamine. It's addictive. I'm used to making a decision and finding out years later whether it was right. Now you can have a working version of almost anything by the end of the day, and the hard part is getting used to asking for it. We spent twenty years getting good at saying no to ideas because we couldn't build them all. Now we can, so the job is different. You have to think a lot bigger. You have to build the thing before you debate it. And you have to understand the whole business well enough to know which experiments are worth running and how you'll be able to tell if they work. People are making ALL the things. Some will work. Some won't. But we finally get to find out. Twenty years in, it feels like we're starting Wistia all over again. LFG.

A boring video is just a good video in the wrong outfit. Dress it up with Mochine.

Got to bring my daughter behind the scenes of our new @mochine_ai video shoot. I think she was just as excited to see how it all gets made as we are to share Mochine with you.

This is so catchy and fun. When anything can be generated it all becomes about how genuinely entertaining something can be.
This is an outrageously fun experience to watch. It feels like you're digesting an entire movie in 3 minutes. Heavy Pulp has mastered the art of microdosing cinema

It is amazing how quickly all the bottlenecks in software are shifting to attention.

I'm quite impressed with the form factor of Instinct.co. It's openclaw via iMessage designed for normies. I've used it for some fun and complex personal tasks and it's nailed everything. Still not willing to use it for core work tasks yet.

Luxury software is coming. It needs to be easy, it needs to be fun, it needs to make you feel more confident, and it needs to solve real problems. If an agent isn't doing the work for you, then jumping in and managing a poor interface will become an unacceptable solution.
Going forward, one of the biggest differentiators will be how a product makes you *feel*. Features alone won’t set products apart when most functionality can be built and copied with a few prompts.

I had some reflection moments while on holiday, and came out with a few thoughts I wanted to share...

He’s just like us!
Erling Haaland bought steak, honey and fresh milk from an old woman’s farm, then went home to cook it himself. Sometimes I genuinely think he forgets he’s a millionaire.😭

Every model improvement should improve your products and operations. That's the sign you are AI Native. h/t @amix3k
Introducing Claude Opus 5. It's a thoughtful and proactive model that comes close to the frontier intelligence of Fable 5 at half the price.

We value human effort. The fact that we know there is no CGI in this movie makes every frame matter more.
‘THE ODYSSEY’ is now tracking to pass $1 billion worldwide in its box office run. It is expected to become Christopher Nolan's highest grossing film ever.

Trial lawyers are lobbying against self-driving cars because they're too safe. They need people to be killed and injured so that they have material for lawsuits.
