🤔 The most prominent is the Ban Artificial Superintelligence Act of 2026, introduced by Rep. Greg Casar (D-TX) and Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) in September 2026. It would: • Permanently prohibit developing, deploying, or possessing artificial superintelligence (defined as systems that match or exceed human cognitive abilities across domains, or that could destroy or disempower humanity). • Pause advanced AI development until a new cabinet-level Department of Artificial Intelligence is created and sets safety rules. • Impose steep penalties for violations, including fines, up to 20 years in prison, and bans from AI-related work. After Democrats won control of both the House and Senate in the November 3, 2026 midterms, Rep. Yassamin Ansari (D-Ariz.) publicly called for a pause on advanced AI, regulation of the “out of control” industry, and a ban on superintelligence as a top priority for the new Congress starting in January 2027. Other related ideas circulating include an AI “kill switch” requirement, mandatory audits for frontier models (with possible government restrictions for catastrophic risks), and proposals for a temporary moratorium on new AI data centers until environmental, energy, and labor safeguards are in place. Broader context Most congressional activity focuses on regulation, safety standards, transparency, and data-center impacts rather than a blanket ban on AI. Bipartisan efforts (such as discussion drafts of a “Great American AI Act”) emphasize audits, innovation frameworks, and federal rules, while Republicans and the Trump administration have generally opposed measures that could slow U.S. development relative to China. President Trump has dismissed some existential-risk concerns and is widely expected to veto aggressive safety or pause bills. As of early November 2026, no major AI ban or comprehensive regulatory bill has become law. Most proposals remain in early stages or stalled, though Democratic control of Congress increases the odds of hearings, investigations, and attempts at stronger oversight. In short: targeted bans or pauses on the most advanced systems are actively being proposed by some lawmakers, especially on the progressive left, but there is no consensus in Congress to ban AI outright, and significant political and procedural hurdles remain.

What if somebody told you to buy energy a few weeks ago?
energy $vst $vist $XE ( Amazon invested, and X-Energy (XE) is especially worth watching because it's the smallest position but gives Thiel Macro exposure to advanced nuclear technology. $AEP $DTE $fe $cms

Why It’s Attracting Attention $Vistra is a large independent power producer (not a traditional regulated utility). It owns roughly ~44 GW of generation capacity, including one of the bigger competitive nuclear fleets in the U.S. (~6.3–6.4 GW across Comanche Peak in Texas and the Energy Harbor plants in Ohio/Pennsylvania: Perry, Davis-Besse, and Beaver Valley).

$Vistra (VST) is one of the clearer non-pure-AI power names that has attracted billionaire and top-fund interest, largely because of its nuclear fleet and long-term power purchase agreements (PPAs) with hyperscalers

If you’re not buying energy, you’re not buying the pics and shovels of gold AI needs energy It’s not real hard!

$QNT is the native currency of Fusion. Not a Layer 1. Also not a Layer 2. Also not an oracle network. Also not a bridge. It’s a Layer 2.5. It fuses all L1s and L2s together. Makes them usable as if you were dealing with one blockchain. Without a new consensus algo
