Through qualitative and design-based research she explores how social robots can be used in family life and facilitate family routines. Building the Future of Educational VR: Towards an Immersive and Social Learning Experience Georgie Qiao Jin Uof Minnesota Jin is a PhD candidate in the CS&E Dept at the U of Minnesota, Grouplens Research Center. Her research focuses on using AR/VR/MR to support remote learning, collaboration, and social connection. Pushing Visualizations Beyond the Desktop with Everyday Devices and Novel Interfaces Sandra Bae CU Boulder Bae is a PhD student at CU Boulder, focusing on how to push data beyond the flat screen.
