A baby California sea lion was found wandering the streets of San Francisco early this morning. The tiny pup was spotted alone on Irving Street, and rescuers named the sea lion “Irving.”

Pups missing their mothers often leads to them suckling on eachother for comfort 😔 although it pulls on our heartstrings it is a normal behaviour at this young age (approx. 1-2 weeks old), and having company of the same kind is beneficial for their development. #seals
