This is going to sound autistic but at night in the Borowski home, if you stand in the kitchen you and crank up the volume you can hear this lovely white noise that is probably some kind of air conditioning. If you leave the kitchen the ambient noise abates.

He has said that the Portal games influenced some of his ideas in previous projects, and making a movie based on them is his ultimate dream project.

“If you really look at the missions and the storylines and the characters like Captain Price, Soap, Ghost and Alex, these are complicated humans. These are not, and no disrespect, cartoon characters or comic books," says director Peter Berg. "These are very nuanced storylines; there’s a real soul to the ‘Modern Warfare’ universe. Yes, there’s violence and hardware and equipment and killing. But underneath it, I think the game, and the creators of the game, are really looking at the cost of war, the cost of having to be a warrior who’s, for whatever reason, chosen to put himself between real danger and the rest of us, and the burden that these guys carry.”
