Auburn's @JettJohnston1 came off the 2025 season with a limited number of innings under his belt, and the biggest thing that stood out was the walks: 8 free bases through just over 11 innings pitched.

This Redshirt Freshman just went from upper 80s to low 90s. 💪
@Edwards17Rex came to Tread topping 91 all-time, but sitting mid-upper 80s in his bullpens.
We started by getting him back into constraint long toss and letting him do things he genuinely enjoyed. Velo climbed from mid-upper 88s to touching 90, then 91 while at Cal this spring.
Once the velocity was trending, he came in-house early for pitch design and output work leading into the Transfer Portal Showcase. He broke his pull-down PR by 2 mph and then sat his previous PR, touching 94+.🔥
He's since committed to Sacramento State out of the TPS. ✍️

Congrats to longtime Tread athlete, Austin Testerman, on signing with the @Guardians ✍️
Testerman posted a 2.85 ERA with 70 strikeouts in 47.1 innings at Georgia Gwinnett in 2025 and was set to throw at Pro Day 2026, but had to withdraw due to illness.
Now, he's finally getting his chance at affiliate ball.

Jeff. Why should I respect ya’ll? All you and your posse do is talk negatively about players, coaches, and the game itself. How is what y’all do make this game any better?
The D3 pitcher with 39 career innings is running circles around you and your boys with the amount of positive impact he’s made in this game. And there’s a bunch more people just like me.
You’re good to go bud.
