2027 brings one change to my life: I started my own team on @AppCycling! My team is called 'Out Of The Box Cycling Team' and launched yesterday with this picture made by my colleague. You know I like to go bold with picks, predictions, takes, etc, so why not doing that also on one of the largest fantasy games around? Waiting for those who dare to think differently and wants to have fun - results don't matter for first year but if we can get one or two top 50s in first season, I'll be happy. This required the peloton’s almost customary relative passivity, but at least as much, if not more, came down to Blasi being in superb form on that early afternoon in the Netherlands. Looking back in 5–10 years’ time, this day may prove even more significant than we think now... #AGR26

Tour Auvergne-Rhone-Alpes - Stage 1 📍 Saint-Ismier 🏆 Alex Baudin Just when it seemed the breakaway was over and the Decathlon-led peloton was about to catch everyone up on the final climb, Alex Baudin had a flash of inspiration and, taking advantage of the favorites’ apparent passivity, built up a 90-second lead on the Côte de Rousset that couldn’t be closed on the final 2. It was excellent team tactics and individual performance, which ultimately earned Alex Baudin five days in the race lead. #TARA26

Best races of 2026. #3: Volta Comunitat Valenciana - Stage 4 📍 Teulada Moreira 🏆 Remco Evenepoel One of the finest memories of February was seeing Evenepoel attack on Puig de la Llorenca, with Tiberi and Pellizzari trying to keep up with him, grimacing and occasionally grinning, but ultimately having to concede defeat by the last few hundred metres of the climb. Great race, beautiful scenery, a good crowd – 2027 edition will be excellent too. #VCV2026

best races of 2026. #2: Giro di Abruzzo - Stage 2 📍 Caramanico Terme 🏆 Lennart Jasch epic solos and Lennart Jasch went hand in hand this year, he certainly was one of the highlights of 2026 - this was a second solo in line when a seemingly done and dusted, small bunch sprint was avoided by Jasch's flamme rouge attack to which Godon, Scalco and Team UKYO's duo had no reply to. fascinating win, fascinating season from the German, not the last time he'll be featured here. #GirodiAbruzzo

Best races of 2026. The series begins again and to my biggest surprise, it contains more races than ever before as the number grew from the usual 105-115 range to 131 races this time. As always, it's in complete random order. #1. Vuelta a España - Stage 1 📍 Monaco 🏆 Tadej Pogačar There were some really exciting time trials this year but this one topped the year for me - great course, great setting, great racing against the clock where Tadej Pogačar won by a few millimeters ahead of Ethan Hayter, winning in his second home.
