crypto spends a lot of time talking about transparency, but not enough about what should never have to become public.
imagine applying for an onchain loan and needing to prove you hold sufficient assets on a centralized exchange.
the lender needs an answer to one question:
do you meet the requirement?
it doesn't need your entire trading history, every account balance, or a screenshot that can easily be manipulated.
this is where @primus_labs gets interesting.
through zkTLS, Primus is building infrastructure that allows information from ordinary HTTPS sessions to be turned into verifiable attestations.
instead of handing an application your complete financial records, you could prove a specific claim about data held by an external platform, with much less sensitive information exposed.
and zkTLS is only part of the picture.
Primus is also working with FHE, a technology that enables computation on encrypted data.
think about what combining verifiable offchain information with private computation could mean for DeFi lending, proof of assets, identity checks, and even AI agents whose actions need to be verified.
there's an important distinction though.
proving that information came from a particular source doesn't automatically guarantee that the source is trustworthy, or that the information will remain true forever.
but it gives applications a stronger foundation than simply trusting screenshots and unsupported claims.
that's what makes this worth watching for me.
the next stage of onchain finance might not be about making everyone's private information visible.
it might be about making that exposure unnecessary in the first place.

so you’ve launched a token. what happens after the hype?

omooo, here’s how one token launch turned an entire web community against itself. 😭
i saw the team launch their token, people buying and selling, and everyone was excited.
but there was a problem. they didn’t fully understand how to manage their token supply, and they hadn’t considered locking any of it.
things went stupidly south, the community got agitated, trust started falling apart, and eventually, the whole community dissolved.
imagine putting so much effort into building a community, only for things to fall apart because of mistakes that could’ve been avoided with better planning.
this is why launching a token is more than just creating one and watching people trade it.
and honestly, i can’t help but wonder if things might’ve played out differently if they’d understood their options before launching.

last week, i aped $50 into a random token, hoping to hit a crazy moonshot.
