There are gaping holes in the squad on top of that. Worse, he's expected to fix it almost immediately, because he has "expensive players" and a better squad than Klopp ever started with. Under Slot, these players were outrun week in, week out. Iraola's whole game is built on outrunning the opposition. He's being asked to wave a magic wand, shake them out of last season's slumber, and turn us into world-beaters overnight
