This post is a perfect example of why I feel your story of being a survivor is completely fabricated.
Because the way you exploit the topic of sexual assault so freely tells me itโs something thatโs never been serious to you.
Actual survivors like me see through your bullshit.

I am keeping a close eye on severe flooding in Brevard County and flood threats affecting communities across Florida. Please stay off flooded roadways, take local weather alerts seriously, and check in on your neighbors and loved ones.

Iโve seen a few posts this morning from some Floridians who have never lived under a Democratic governor.
Itโs time for a change. Many of Floridaโs greatest days were under Democratic leadership. And, no, Southern Democrats havenโt changed. It will be great to have another Graham in Tallahassee.

This is true. Rural voters are focused on protecting their environments.
Theyโre being targeted by developers to price them out of their communities.
Theyโre facing โpristine landsโ being targeted by big tech for data centers.
Many still live on well water. Overdevelopment threatens their access to clean water. To connect to sewer would cost them 10s of thousands out of their own pockets that they do not have.
Look at the fights against Nestle or expanding the turnpike into rural areas.
Livelihood will always be greater than party.
I won't pretend race doesn't matter but if Donalds loses blaming it on race is the lazy route.
Donalds has run a VERY South Florida centric race. He has run a very pro-development race. No one has bothered to visit the rural areas that they will saddle with the racist label and asked those voters. If they had they would have learned that those voters are far more in tune with the workings of Tallahassee than most suburban voters.
If Byron and Jason Brodeur win on Tuesday the outcome will likely mean the removal of all county level development restrictions aimed at keeping areas rural. Brodeur introduced the bill last session. If re-elected he will be President of the Senate. Rural voters know this. Jolly also has had people reaching out to them letting them know he absolutely does not support such measures.
I don't know how many, I have my guesses, but from the people I've talked to I know many rural Republicans are voting for a Democrat for the first time in their lives this election. You can shout at them all you want about trans kids and men in women's sports but their literal way of life is being threatened here. That takes precedence.
