dadprg.kswapps.com is officially live. Links to things I make, tutorials in readable formats, all the good stuff. Planning to update the tutorials to use PiST in due course.
Go get it, have some fun.
I loved this game on my ZX Spectrum back in the 80s. So I've made 3 versions for the Atari STe (and a port for the Atari ST). Check 'em out if you dare - ataricrypt.blogspot.com/2026…
This is a good thing. The slop will be easy to ignore as people learn to filter it. Further, those who make good games will still stand out because everyone else is producing shit.
I'm really enjoying seeing what very clever creative people do with AI. And it's clear that human skill and creativity is still a huge part of what gets made since if I tried to make something like that it would turn out absolute shit!
Happy Halloween 🎃
I've loved watching everyone's Halloween shorts this month. AI isn't outsourcing anyone's creativity. It's letting it out.
Here's my final one: SMASHED, a Fun Size Halloween short. Made with @invideoOfficial.
Twitter gets a bad rap sometimes but I really do enjoy being able to have random chats with people who love old computers as much as I do. Fair to say I'll never have a big following or get rich doing this stuff but I'm having fun, and hopefully being useful. I'm ok with that.
Are you shoveling cash into the Claude furnace only to be told no you can’t do what you want? Spend $10/month and get enough AI to do most of your work. Maybe add command code goat if you need more.
On games - BombBloke just wasn't fun enough to be worth doing. I learned a tonne making it, but it wasn't quite there. I'm still thinking a bit about what I want to make. Some things kicking around my head:
- I've built an engine that allows you to traverse the surface of a planet and fly seamlessly out into space in Godot - there's a bit of me that wants to take that and bring some Mercenary/Damocles energy
- something resembling Midwinter 2 as a turn based top down game for the 3D stuff and the character interaction left largely alone
- I love flight sims like F-19 Stealth Fighter where it's right in a sane border between realism and arcade. I'd quite like to do something in that space.
Current projects:
- KoalaPaw (Jellyfin/Plex Android TV client) latest update is stuck in App Store Review Hell
- KoalaAmp (Winamp-skin compatible, does Plex/Jellyfin) is in decent shape, not worked on it for a bit
- PiST has some nice new tools for looking at binary data and program state but I'm taking a few days off to get a bit of rest
- Lemon&Lime is pretty stable, not much going on with it at the moment
- Ludus too
- Bord (android whiteboard that serves a webpage on LAN to phones to use to interact with it) is in decent shape but needs more work before it can go to app stores
So I thought I'd make a little video talking about the recent wave of AI game conversions and Anthropic tightening rules around that and how that compares a little with the evolution of piracy from the peak of Napster and Pirate Bay to today where it's no longer for normies. New thing to try, let's see if people like it.
✅The SUPER WODEN GP 3 Steam Store page is now live! Please add it to your wishlist!
Sharing this post would also help me a lot and means a great deal to the project.
Thank you so much!

The Super Woden GP3 store page has been submitted for approval today. I hope it will be available soon so you can add it to your wishlist!
As a side note, designing and creating the track environments is undoubtedly the most tedious part of the entire development process. But once you overcome that initial reluctance and see the results, it's incredibly satisfying! Have a great weekend! ♥
The thing is it was such a good advert. It explained what you were getting and why you wanted it, and frankly even now, watching it makes me want to go out and buy an Atari ST even though I already have one via MiSTerFPGA.
