one of these days I wanna do a thread on my late mum's harvest mice captive breeding program in our house back in the aughts... difficult when I have barely any photo evidence or news articles online though so it'll be a lot of "trust me bro" gfbdhjkgh
I'm trying to find the source for the 'steve the tiny smelly dibbler at perth zoo' viral posts and am so far unsuccessful in finding proof that he exists, but I am finding some fantastic images in the meanwhile
if anyone has proof that steve exists and it wasn't just a made-up post, I would be delighted to be proven wrong. but in the meantime I have learnt so much about dibblers today
also, so I'm not being TOO much of a buzzkill, here's the article where the viral picture seems to have originated :') perthnow.com.au/news/animals…
. I was trying to find this article that mentions Kathleen Shackleton drawing a portrait of Hussey, but I forgot they misspell it as Bussey. god. anyway I WANT TO SEE ITTTTTT

I made compend.org. It's a Letterboxd-style review site for all earthly things. It just seemed like a fun idea. I'll keep adding features if people use it, probably.

I do really want to try this but the CAD conversion is obscene lmao
So I recently badgered my cinematographer @steveyedlin into making my ideal iPhone still camera app. It shoots RAW, bypasses the iPhone's look processing and instead uses the same image processing we use on our movies. apps.apple.com/app/apple-sto…
