Update on Artemis III
The core stage of the Artemis III rocket is officially stacked.

ALT The bottom half of the orange core stage of the Artemis III rocket is suspended vertically in High Bay 3 of the VAB as a crane moves it into place above the mobile launcher. Several levels of observation platforms are visible behind the core stage and one of the solid rocket boosters is seen below. Credit: NASA/Sean Cannon

Hey kids, keep learning coding & welding & CAD & circuits & chemistry & metallurgy because SpaceX will need a lot more employees
All it takes is a little time.
This little guy was just playing with these domino shaped pieces…so I showed him how to line up & tip them over.
Then he spent the next 15 minutes making longer & longer ones.
Just give kids some of your time.
A student who graduated last year stopped by & shared how her Construction Management studies have started (she likes them, although “masonry is hard, but we built this wall”)

A child was having a hard day yesterday at the school I visited, so the principal asked if I could help her do a STEM challenge…
So we tried some KEVA planks & she figured it out
And when I saw her later in the day, she was all smiles & asked “when can we do another challenge?”

My daughter loves painting old records with her own band art. Opportunity to test out physics with Hazelight. Accuracy is terrific. #projectionmapping @AppleEDU
Math can just include simple connections…
We’re learning about cubic functions in Algebra 2 today…so I compared the graph to the “s curve” freeway that goes through our city

Anyone have this balancing game in their classroom or at home?
Thinking this would be fun for students to design & 3d print & give to elementary classrooms

Looks like something a high school student could make as a bonus challenge in STEM class:
This desk model works like a real car engine. Key to start, pedal to go.
Turn the key and the motor roars to life. Press the pedal and it spins faster, exactly like hitting the gas.
Watch the three pistons on the stand. They pump up and down in sequence, just like the cylinders inside a real engine, and the harder you press, the faster they fire.
A key switch, a speed controller, a foot pedal, and a motor. The whole thing runs on a scrap of wood.
Everything your car does under the hood, shrunk to the size of your hand.

Hey parents & teachers, have you seen this math & spatial manipulative?
The kindergarten kids I saw using them were doing some good thinking

Hey teachers, here’s a great news story that connect the World Series with prosthetic limbs for kids…
The last manager to take the Brewers to the World Series was a hard-living man who lived in the back of a bar and cracked jokes about his prosthetic leg.
These days, the legacy of Harvey Kuenn and his famed leg lives on via the Harvey Kuenn Foundation:
