Some schools still teach cursive.
And the kids like it.
It’s writing, but it’s also “artistic” and “beautiful”

Anyone have this balancing game in their classroom or at home?
Thinking this would be fun for students to design & 3d print & give to elementary classrooms
A child was having a hard day yesterday at the school I visited, so the principal asked if I could help her do a STEM challenge…
So we tried some KEVA planks & she figured it out
And when I saw her later in the day, she was all smiles & asked “when can we do another challenge?”
And if you’re wondering, the challenge card is from this set of Brain Builders from @KEVAplanks (there’s also a Jr edition for younger kids to build)

My students were practically fighting over my couple Rubik’s cubes in my classroom, so I found a 3x3 & two 2x2 on eBay for under $10 total.
Met a teacher yesterday who expanded his class reading Lord of the Flies by adding a variety of hands on projects (including making parts of the island)
It was a great way to incorporate some social studies & science standards
