Do you know what gets me? Right-wing politicians in Britain face the nastiest, most dishonest questioning from the media, especially the left-wing press. Yet what @Nigel_Farage was asked in that interview clip wasn't one of those hard questions. It was the easiest one going. Raheem Kassam, a senior @reformparty_uk-affiliated figure and long-standing friend of Farage's, called @KemiBadenoch a “Nigerian scammer”. That's despicably racist. And Kassam is a racist scumbag. Let's just be honest about it. So when Farage was asked if the comment was racist, the answer was yes. Unequivocally. There was no debate to be had. Instead, Farage, Danny Kruger and Robert Jenrick refused to condemn it and deflected endlessly. That tells you everything about Reform UK. If anyone doubted they enable racist scumbags, they do. The whole circus around Kassam's statement is macabre. Watch the clips circulating and you see how united they are in protecting this racist. It looks like a calculated bet. Condemn him and you appeal to mainstream voters. Refuse and you keep the white nationalist vote. Clearly, they've made their choice about whose support they want. I say this as someone who voted Reform UK in 2024. I was honest about it at the time. I wanted the Conservative Party to take an electoral beating so it could renew itself. The protest worked. But if Reform UK was the battering ram, it has served its purpose. Now it's rotten, rotting from within, and it should be discarded. To anyone who supported Reform UK out of protest, as I did, the time for that is over. A vote for Reform UK now puts racist scumbags or their enablers into government. If you think that's better than a renewed Conservative Party under Kemi Badenoch, then I despise you. I completely resent you. Shame on you. The choice is clear. You have a party of racist scumbags, or a party of decent people that is genuinely right of centre. The battering ram is rotten and should be committed to the dustbin of history.
