Ok, first off, please explain why you got turned away. This has been a problem in jails and prisons, both state and federal, for many years. But it fell on deaf ears to people like you until it happened to you. But that doesn't mean it should be happening to you, which is why I'm asking you to explain.
I will never advocate for your husband's release because he committed a crime and took a plea. However, just like every criminal, he still has rights, and so do you. So, from that side, I will do everything in my power to advocate for visitations and humane treatment for people in custody regardless of party affiliation.
And please stop calling Kyle a political prisoner because he's not. I would also beg you, for the sake of your daughter, keep her off camera. She doesn't appear to want to be part of your narrative. It might also make her a target at school, for goodness sake. Kids are more cruel these days because adults are modeling poor behavior, and people like you minimize that behavior instead of owning so your son and daughter don't repeat it.
