Thanks, everyone, for letting us bring kittens into your life.
You can continue the kitten flow via the probably-obvious service. See milk.com/hourlykitten/ for a link.

Having done both, I'll give the edge to "debugging process / thread system bugs."

This apparently marks the end of the hourlykitten bot on this site. It was a noncommercial labor of love and we hope it brought you some joy. Look for us on other likely sites, starting with ones that are less hostile to users and more hostile to Nazis.
Hey @beesandbombs! Please consider "spinning" up a presence in the fediverse. Cheers!

Agreed that Discord is okay for siloed community chat, but I wouldn't want to use it beyond that.
Yeah, I use the term "fediverse" as an umbrella but do specifically mean Mastodon as the closest analog to Twitter.

Totally understood. My take is that the fediverse is the current best choice for "agoric" style social network, despite — no question about it — many flaws.

I'm afraid you might not have much of a choice in the matter, soon.

Please find your way to the fediverse!

So here's the thing. You can only violate people's legal rights and your own word so far before they lawyer up and come after you.
I really do hope Musk changes his mind and does the right thing - the employees deserve that. But it'll be fun as hell if he doesn't.
Hey @sfbike please consider firing up a Mastodon / fediverse account. Thanks!
