The Nigerian Law Society has conferred the rank of Senior Counsel of Nigeria on Nigeria’s High Commissioner to South Africa, Lesotho and Eswatini, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, and four other legal professionals. The other recipients were Seyi Tinubu, Olufunmilayo Osifuye, Ihudiebube Chukwumdi and Alabi Adigun. The Blue Silks rank of Senior Counsel of Nigeria, introduced in 2025, is the equivalent of the Fellowship of the Nigerian Law Society.
