🚨Important Update: 🚨 Addressing Recent Impersonation and Extortion Attempts Over the past few days, it has come to my attention that my name, as well as the name of our community, Design JobCaster, are being used in a coordinated scam and defamation campaign. Malicious actors have created a fake Telegram group ("DesignJobCasterng" - note the deliberate misspelling) and a fraudulent payment bot. Worse, they are sending aggressive, false emails to my associates and industry peers, falsely accusing us of piracy in an attempt to extort money and damage our professional reputation. I want to be absolutely clear: These claims are entirely fabricated. We are the victims of an extortion attempt. Here is what I am doing to resolve this: • I have reported the impersonating channels and bots to Telegram for trademark infringement and fraud. • We have documented all false communications and are reporting this to the relevant authorities, including Action Fraud (UK) and the Police Intellectual Property Crime Unit (PIPCU). • Our legal team is monitoring the situation closely.
