At the third annual TIME100 AI Impact Dinner in San Francisco, Danielle Boyer reflected on the “seven generations teaching” her grandmother shared with her, a lesson about considering what every decision leaves behind. On July 30, a U.S. appeals court found Enbridge liable for trespassing on Bad River Band territory in northern Wisconsin — land the company had no legal right to be on since 2013. Over a decade of trespassing. Millions in restitution. A pipeline that’s leaked at least 29 times since 1968.

Let's also discuss that AI data centers require a significant amount of power and WATER. Not only do a lot of Navajo people live without power, but also without access to running water. Not to mention how this will affect all people in AZ due to the region being in a megadrought
