Dan Kanter

My heart is overflowing! Last night was truly magical. To our ever-growing APJ family, your incredible generosity helped us raise much-needed funds for both @artistsforpeace and @JaneGoodallInst at the gala. 🖤 To-date, APJ has raised over $36 Million and helped over 31,000 students get an education. “To know that even one life has breathed easier because you have lived - that is to have succeeded.” ― Ralph Waldo Emerson. My deepest gratitude to @JaneGoodallInst and @itsrickmercer for their unwavering commitment and profound legacy of service to our planet. Your work inspires us all.✨ Our #APJ community is unstoppable! I am endlessly thankful to our APJ family, friends, board members, benefactors, artists, and sponsors—your support and generosity make everything we do possible. 🙏 🎶 And wow! @BenHarper, @NellyFurtado, @CharlotteDayWilson, @PaulBeaubrun, @FefeDobson, @DanKanter, and @HeyEricaFox, thank you for making the evening so memorable. 🎶 To the artists who generously contributed their incredible work to our cause—@petertunney, @bankrobbercalifornia, @mrbrainwash, @tamarabahry, @maxjamali, and my love @erichendrikx—we are forever grateful for your invaluable support. A huge thank you to the amazing #APJCanada board: @strombo, @kardinalo, @deliciously_rosem, @sholehalemifabbri, @joannebull13, and @suzanneboyd_—you are the heart and soul of this mission. Your dedication to making a difference is truly inspiring. We couldn’t have done it without our generous sponsors @2fifteenliving by @dbsdevelopments, @aircanada, @audicanada, @breitling, @smegcanada, @libertygroup, @wisefamilyfoundation, @PerigonLife, @marthafrancoarchitecture, @ritzcarltontoronto, @flow, and @taglialatellatoronto. Thank you for being a key part of #APJGala2024’s success. @erichendrikx, your constant support means the world to me. What better way to celebrate your birthday than by performing on stage with @BenHarper! I 🖤 you! The #NKPR team works tirelessly all year to bring this event to life, and @DianaPiresEvents, thank you for everything that you do for @artistsforpeace. I can’t wait to see everyone again next year. 🇭🇹❤️ Getty Images (@RyanEmberley @vitoamati)

4 more sleeps till the 16th annual Artists for Peace and Justice Gala!! @erichendrikx and I are taking a trip down memory lane as we fondly reminisce about the incredible times we’ve had hosting the past three @artistsforpeace Galas at our home. This year, the #APJGala moves to @casalomatoronto on September 8th—an ideal setting for creating new, unforgettable memories - with intimate and super special performances from @BenHarper, @FefeDobson with @DanKanter, @PaulBeaubrun and @NellyFurtado, along with other special surprises. Each year reaffirms our passion for our mission in #Haiti. As stewards in service, we remain dedicated to making a positive impact whenever possible. Thank you for being part of this journey with us. 🖤 #Throwback #ThrowbackWednesday #EducationForAll #ChangeMakers #APJTIFF24 #APJ #APJ2024
