I learnt so much about politics (and myself!) from Christine. She is an incredible champion for the people she represents and those whose voices go unheard. It was a privilege to work and campaign with her and the parliamentary party will be much poorer without her.
I’ve taken the decision not to stand as Lib Dem candidate in Edinburgh West at the next GE. It has been a fantastic decade. I want to thank @EdwardJDavey for all his support over the years. I’m confident our next chapter will be even more successful and I’m sad I won’t be there.
My first ever campaign for the Lib Dem’s @cajardineMP was the candidate. I learned so much from her. Since this photo at the count in 2017 she has become a true parliamentarian. I count Christine as one of my political hero’s and a true friend.
