I am pleased to reflect on the significant progress of @redstone_defi oracle, since I shared a thread on its TVS via my alternate handle on August'23. At that time, RedStone's TVS was at ~$24m. Today, as of Sept'25, the oracle has achieved an impressive approx 400% increase in TVS (~9B) driven by the integration of numerous leading DeFi projects. The Redstone team has demonstrated a consistent and accelerated growth trajectory, markedly more active than in 2023. The expansion of the team and integration with valuable projects has been key factors in this success, enabling enhanced development and strategic partnerships throughout almost all chains in web3. The introduction of the $RED token has further bolstered the ecosystem, providing new opportunities for engagement and investment within the community. Notably, RedStone is now positioning itself as a competitive player against industry giants #Chainlink, which was tough to imagine that time. Having been part of the community from its early stages, I am particularly proud of how far #RedStone has come in such a short period. A year ago, Bangladesh sat 35th in Chainalysis’s Global Crypto Adoption Index. The 2024 edition covered 151 countries. In the 2025 edition, Bangladesh is 13th. That 22-place climb was the second-biggest among the top 20, behind only Yemen’s 29. The index is built to measure ordinary people, not big balances. It combines value received on centralized services and in DeFi, retail and total, weighted by population and purchasing power. The window runs 12 months to June 2025. Where the activity comes from: One industry tracker attributes Bangladesh’s ranking to remittance inflows, and the numbers are large. Bangladesh received a record $35.56 billion in remittances in FY2025-26, up from $30.33 billion the year before. That’s 17.3% growth, following a 27% jump in FY25. The shopping side: E-commerce is a fraction of that. ECDB puts 2025 revenue at $6.04 billion. Research And Markets estimates $7.41 billion. By my math, remittances run about 5 to 6 times either figure and growth is 20-25%. Cards carry a growing share. Card-based online purchases averaged Tk 21.85 billion a month between August 2025 and June 2026, which is roughly Tk 262 billion a year at that pace. The seller base is small and scattered. An e-CAB count from a few years back found more than 2,500 platforms, 95% of them small businesses. Facebook commerce is a dominant force. What the data can’t tell us: The index counts exchange and DeFi activity. Shopping carts aren’t in it, so a high rank says nothing about whether Bangladeshi buyers want to pay for goods with stablecoins. The rules also matter. Bangladesh Bank’s September 2022 circular reaffirmed that virtual currencies aren’t permitted under the Foreign Exchange Regulation Act of 1947. In 2021, the central bank said holding or transacting in crypto doesn’t appear to be a crime, though it doesn’t recognize it as legal currency. The National Blockchain Policy 2026 groups stablecoins with other private crypto assets. So a stablecoin checkout in Bangladesh would start outside the licensed system. For anyone building payments here, the first question is what a shopper in Dhaka would pay with, and under whose rules.

Samsung is bringing USDC to 82 million compatible Galaxy devices. Announced on Oct 7, @SamsungMobileUS Wallet plans to introduce stablecoin transfers for eligible U.S. users later this month. Key highlights: • $USDC as the first supported stablecoin • 82 million compatible Galaxy devices in the U.S. • International USDC wallet transfers • Bank transfers to 60+ countries Why it matters: Stablecoins are moving beyond crypto-native wallets into everyday financial applications. For @Circle and USDC, this represents a significant distribution opportunity. For ecosystems like @Arc, it reinforces the importance of building stablecoin infrastructure that makes blockchain complexity invisible to users. AI agents are starting to become economic actors. @Cloudflare 's Monetization Gateway shows what that actually looks like: Agent requests a resource → receives HTTP 402 → authorizes $USDC → settles onchain → gets access. No traditional checkout required. Today, Cloudflare is using $USDC on Base with x402. But the bigger signal matters for the entire stablecoin ecosystem. If agents start paying per API call, search, dataset, inference request or MCP tool, we're entering an economy where machines need financial rails built for machine-speed transactions. This is especially interesting for Arc builders. @arc has been positioning around stablecoin-native and agentic finance. The opportunity now is to build the wallets, authorization layers, APIs, payment middleware and services those autonomous agents will actually need. Agentic commerce is moving from thesis to infrastructure.
