The President has decided that in order to make ground beef cheaper, he will cut tariffs on ground beef. And I'm wondering if he could generalize from this one product to other products, and perhaps concede that tariffs raise prices on American consumers.

Trump admin officials acknowledged during a closed-door briefing on Capitol Hill Tuesday that Iran’s Shahed attack drones represent a major challenge and US air defenses will not be able to intercept them all.
The drones, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Dan Caine acknowledged, are posing a bigger problem than anticipated, per sources in the briefing. cnn.com/2026/03/04/politics/…

The Minnesota General Strike. This is one place in Minneapolis, but it's happening statewide.
100s of thousands, maybe millions of people striking against fascism. This will be a building block. And it's -24 degrees out there.

The future of the free world depends on Japan and Germany. Ironic perhaps, but they understand as well as anyone what unchecked aggression by dictators leads to.

Wind and solar are not fringe technologies in the US. They have overtaken coal in 24 states since US coal generation peaked in 2007.
This includes red states such as South Dakota, Oklahoma, Kansas and Texas...

The lives of several students and community members were put in immediate jeopardy by the abrupt Job Corps federal funding cuts by the Trump administration.
Let me be very clear: This does not “Make America Skilled Again.” It makes our young people vulnerable to homelessness. It forces families to scramble for resources. It simply does nothing to ensure our community is stronger and healthier.
Milwaukee County and our partners are committed to making sure these young people don't fall through the cracks, and we will continue seeking funding for supportive services. But we expect the federal government to do its part, too. These young people deserve more than a press release announcing their future’s been canceled.
Milwaukee County is here. We're fighting for our community, and we’re not backing down. I encourage you to join us in this fight until every person affected has the support and dignity they deserve.

Just so non-traders understand the bombshell here:
Right before the S&P 500 (SPY) suddenly spiked, someone bought a huge number of call options — bets that the index would go up that same day. These were zero-day options, meaning they expire worthless by the end of the day unless SPY rises quickly. At the time, they were almost worthless.
Then SPY shot up. Those dirt-cheap options exploded in value. A $100K bet turned into $21 million in minutes.
That green spike before the jump is not luck. It’s foreknowledge. Someone knew exactly what was about to happen.
Someone’s going to prison.

Those trying to understand the tariffs as economic policy are dangerously naive.
No, the tariffs are a tool to collapse our democracy. A means to compel loyalty from every business that will need to petition Trump for relief.

In my last video I pointed out that while there was a $17M budget cut to LAFD the expenditures (spending) is forecasted to be $90M MORE than the FY24/25 budget ans $72M more than FY23/24 budget. In response, people have asked me about the Fire Chief's 12/6 memo still mentioning the cut. Based on my 20 years of budgeting process/ tracking expenditures, I explain why that makes sense.
