Update to my Ripple 24/7 post: RLUSD just got rated. Moody's (a credit rating agency) gave it A2 long-term and P-1 short-term. Why: reserves mostly in US Treasuries and cash. Also coming to the Robinhood app by end of 2026. Does a rating make you trust a stablecoin more?
Ripple wants company cash to earn on weekends too 👀 New: "24/7 Returns" in Ripple Treasury. Eligible companies may earn on digital dollars like RLUSD held with Ripple, even when banks are closed. No yield % yet. The real story: stablecoins in company treasuries. Trust it?

First the bridge. Then the CEO. Zilliqa's X-Bridge (moves tokens across chains) was hacked, and some pools on it were drained. No official loss figure yet. CEO Alexander Zahnd stepped down. Bridge still paused. Zilliqa: ZIL itself not affected. Still trust bridges?

No funds lost at Coinbase. Your contact info may be out, though. Its data vendor Amplitude was breached, not Coinbase, it says. Expect fake "Coinbase" emails and calls. SIM swap: a scammer takes over your number to get your codes. Less data on exchanges = better. Agree?

EU/EEA user with USDT on Coinbase? Read this. Due to MiCA (EU crypto rules), on Oct 30 Coinbase converts 14 coins, incl. USDT, PYUSD, DAI, PAXG, to USDC or another asset. Fine with that? Do nothing. Want to keep them? Withdraw before. Deposits after: not credited. Affected?

A gold exchange from 1910 is going cross-chain. XGZ (1 token = 1 gram of gold, backed by Hong Kong Gold Exchange) is adding Chainlink CCIP, a tool to move tokens across chains. Ethereum only for now. Not live yet. Real gold behind a token? I like it. Would you hold it?

Reporting a Solana bug to Firedancer (Jump's validator software) now costs 1 SOL, burned. Its last contest: 809 reports, 127 unique findings. Jump suspects AI. Until Nov 20: rewards 2x, Alpenglow bugs 3x, up to $300K. Good call. Spam should cost. Fair to real researchers?

BlackRock meets a yen stablecoin. On paper. It signed an MoU with SBI and Startale. No date. Plan: explore linking tokenized money market funds (short-term, low-risk assets, as tokens) with JPYSC, a yen stablecoin. I want a product, not a memo. Will it ship?

Strategy bought zero bitcoin last week. Still 848,517 BTC. Same week, it spent $204.9M buying back its STRC preferred shares (shares that pay a dividend). Strive's latest buy: 6,182 BTC. One pause doesn't worry me. A long run of them would. Break, or a sign of something?

15 Bitcoin mining names just signed on to Tether's MDK. Free software so mining machines from any brand speak one language. Tether says AI agents need that to run farms. Not gonna lie, your USDT doesn't change. But Tether is going deep into Bitcoin. Like that move?

Keystone's hack got worse 😬 Hackers got the key that proves a device is real. Fakes could pass. The key that signs updates is safe. 18,835 unsold devices get destroyed. No need to move funds, it says. Got one after Oct 20? Ask support. Never type your seed online. Own one?

BNB Chain is building a 2nd, faster chain next to BSC. No new token. Gas stays in BNB. Goals: a block every ~0.2s, testnet end of 2026, mainnet early 2027. CZ's line: multiple chains, one coin. I like that. But more chains = more bridges to secure. Would you use it?

Got money on Blast? Move it out today 👀 Blast (a network on top of Ethereum) is shutting down. Its easy withdrawal page closes today. ~$40M is still on Blast. After that, funds aren't lost. Then it goes via the contracts: more steps + a 1-day wait. Still in?

🚨 TODAY: Blast’s normal withdrawal interface closes as the L2 shuts down. After today, withdrawals require direct interaction with Ethereum bridge contracts.

2nd hardware wallet scare this week 😬 After Keystone, Passport maker Foundation says fake emails came from its real domains. Its systems were hit, incl. Cloudflare keys. Funds are safe, it says. Full report tomorrow. Never click links in wallet emails. Got one?

The Foundation team is actively working on this. Tag me with any questions and I’ll work to answer as fast as possible. We will share a formal report when we have all details. Passport devices are safe and secure. What we know so far: some of our backend infrastructure was compromised via a vulnerability in a self hosted app. Attackers were likely able to compromise our customer support inbox. They were also able to send emails that appeared to be legitimate. Within 10 minutes of user reports, we shut down attackers’ ability to send emails and booted them off our systems. For a subset of customers with mailing addresses or phone numbers in their emails, we believe that came from (1) access to our customer support inbox, (2) cross referencing and inserting data from other recent crypto leaks and, possibly (3) recent orders on our new Shopify website. We will figure out exactly what happened and we will share more details tomorrow. I’m very sorry.

A website dared hackers to steal its bitcoin 👀 It ran old PHP (code behind many sites) with a BTC key inside. A hacker used the new "PHP2Shell" bugs and won it in 19 hours. A test. No crypto platform was hit. Fix is out: update PHP to the new version. Run a site? Updated?

These "$100 → $5,000 in 24h with my Grok bot" posts are getting on my nerves 😤 No wallet. No transaction. Just a screenshot and tons of views. What I check first: 👉 a wallet or transaction link 👉 numbers that add up 👉 how new the account is Ever almost fallen for one?

South Korea's 22% crypto tax starts in January. The president's office: a delay is "under review", nothing decided. A ruling-party bill points to 2029. That would be the 4th delay 🫠 One reason: the US joins global crypto tax data sharing in 2029. Fair, or kicking the can?
