Alex Afari is officially back with Kentucky. ๐
The former Wildcat linebacker has been cleared to practice with the team after a court ruling granted an additional season of eligibility to players from the 2022 class who had exhausted their eligibility without redshirting.
Afari started 31 of 48 games during his four seasons at Kentucky, totaling 193 tackles, 26.5 tackles for loss and six sacks.
Will Stein confirmed Afari is practicing with the Wildcats, but his ability to play in games is still awaiting final approval.
โItโs all still up in the air, we just want to make sure weโre ready for the moment. Excited for it, but Iโm not gonna look too far ahead on that.โ
