Great year for Equal Parenting with Florida & Missouri legislatures passing Equal Shared Parenting Laws! Why is Texas chair @RepHaroldDutton not even giving Equal Parenting bills a hearing & ignoring 27 bipartisan coauthors? It is best for kids to have both fit parents. #txlege
Don’t have a lot of confidence in people voting the right way when in under 30 seconds while I was standing in a line at Walmart in Beaumont, Texas, I saw three different people not intelligent enough to know what the no pets allowed signs mean. Even if a service dog (likely not) they can’t go in the carts, that’s a food surface
Wow! 😮
.@AbdulElSayed says it’s ok for MEN to be in girl’s locker rooms.
Why?
“Well because they are going to find out about it on the internet anyway”
Completely unacceptable.
Cool!
For more than 60 years, Houston has guided America's journey into space.
Now, just outside the gates of NASA's Johnson Space Center, the Texas A&M University Space Institute is getting ready to open the world's largest indoor lunar and Martian surface simulations.
When the doors open in late November, the next giant leap will have a home in Texas.

His father, Tory Hart, had been fighting for custody. He later sued Dakota County Social Services, saying they returned Eli to the mother despite warnings about her drug use and mental health

Days after a Minnesota mom got full custody of her 6-year-old son back, police pulled her over with bullet holes in her car and blood on the back seat. The boy was in her trunk, shot nine times in his booster seat. The officer asked what was in the trunk, and she said:
“Nothing.” That’s Julissa Thaler, 29, in May 2022, with her son Eli a few feet behind her. She told the officer the bullet holes came from kids with paintball guns and the blood was deer meat. And the people who handed Eli back to her had been told he wasn’t safe with her.
His father, Tory Hart, had been fighting for custody. He later sued Dakota County Social Services, saying they returned Eli despite warnings about her drug use and mental health. Eli’s former foster mother said numerous people feared for his safety if he went back to her, “and that was ignored.” Whenever the family pushed, the answer was, “This is something for family courts.”
At the traffic stop she had an explanation for everything, down to the blood on her own body, which she called “feminine hygiene.” Mostly she wanted a ticket and a ride home. The shotgun was in the trunk next to Eli, wrapped in a gray blanket, and police still let her walk away before anyone opened it.
In the video below the officer tells her the car has bullet holes and “smells like death.” She says she’s cold and wants to go home, blames the blood on deer meat, and tells him there’s nothing in the trunk.
In February 2023 a jury convicted her of first-degree murder and she got life in prison. Her last words to the court were, “I’m innocent. F--- you all. You’re garbage.”
Should the social workers who gave Eli back to her face charges too?

A Beaumont mother faces six felony counts after police say she left a 10-year-old caring for five younger children, including an 8-month-old.
BEAUMONT, Texas — A Beaumont mother is accused of leaving a 10-year-old to care for five younger children, including an 8-month-old. Dawn Vickers, 31, was indicted Oct. 28 on six counts of abandoning or endangering a child, one count for each child. Each count is a state jail felony.
A woman stopped to help an 8-year-old girl who was walking alone near Highland and Lavaca streets around 11:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 10. The girl said she was trying to get to a store to buy her younger sister a bag of chips.
Yes the ice agent in Houston should have been charged. As a conservative Republican we should support the constitution. Police cannot run over a person who isn’t posing a threat just because they are jogging away. Just get out of the car and arrest him but you can’t shoot someone in the back or run them over unless they are posing some sort of immediate threat. Sure they should get in trouble for trying to evade I’m not saying let them get off the hook, but you are a bad police officer if you can’t get the guy without simply running him over. And the penalty for evading isn’t a death penalty.
Body camera video shows an ICE agent's chilling response to running over Miguel Parra Hernandez, a Houston immigrant, in northwest Houston on Oct. 10.
The agent, Mario Alberto Morales, was indicted by a Harris County grand jury on Friday on a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
