Remember, in the first half of 2025, Trump was at the height of his powers, and activists were screaming for Dems to "DO SOMETHING." Much of what he did was never codified and has since been stopped or undone. Dems just won back Congress. It's not perfect, but the system works.

Lauren Maturo once told me I was like a big brother to her because I always pushed her to be better, because I cared so much about her and the work we needed to do. I’ve never forgotten that. She was so beautifully unique. You couldn’t help but love her.
Remembering Lauren Maturo, vice president of marketing at RXR, who passed away at age 32. Maturo spent almost eight years at RXR, where she helped launch the company's women's initiative and championed women in real estate. Scott Rechler, RXR's CEO and chairman, called her "a bright light who made every room she entered feel a little warmer." 🔗 Full story: trib.al/NOP3VRH By: Cathy Cunningham

The correct answer. You're really shortchanging yourself on the best parts of being a father if you do anything less.
Tyrese Maxey on whether he changes his baby's diaper: "I'm a big diaper changing guy. I take pride in the speed that I'm able to change a diaper and keep her from crying. So I'm a big diaper change guy, big feed guy, big nap guy. I'm all of it, wake up in the middle of the night, go get it. I do it all man. I try to cherish these moments, cause it feel like already now she trying to crawl and do different things. So she's already moving too fast for me"

NYCHA maintains ownership of the building, and the land. Oversight is significant, as is the major increase in the level of public investment! These are just facts

Just to be clear. This redevelopment goes from 2,000 old NYCHA units to: 2,000 new NYCHA units, plus 1,000 additional new affordable units, plus 2,000 new market rate units And the old buildings don’t come down until the new buildings have been built and NYCHA residents move in.

Josh is back living in the US…In retrospect, he wonders if he got caught up in the frenzy of discourse when he chose to leave in the first place. “Once I…had some distance from the situation in the US,” he says, “I felt perhaps I had overreacted.” wired.com/story/they-fled-tr…

“…the U.S. economy is growing at 6.3 percent nominal (including inflation). The equivalent number for France? It’s 1.9 percent. When growth is above the interest rate, you’re okay. When it’s the other way round, you’re heading for a crisis.” thefp.com/p/niall-ferguson-w…

Guys, this ain't it: “polished and a good presenter despite growing up in Brownsville, Brooklyn (same as Mike Tyson)" By the way, anyone know if there is a memo on Lane Kiffin and what it says? nytimes.com/athletic/7687077…

Violence is immoral because it thrives on hatred rather than love. It destroys community & makes brotherhood impossible. It leaves society in monologue rather than dialogue. Violence ends by destroying itself. It creates bitterness in the survivors & brutality in the destroyers.
