Jags couldn’t have had a TNF game at a better time.
You get a mid season mini-bye.
Jimmy has a couple of extra days to assess the roster and decide what move(s) to make.
If they have a target, I’d try to get a deal done before Sunday to hold that player out of their game.

This man should be in Canton. Period. He’s as good as any back who has ever played —- big, strong and explosive. But made people miss.
"You picked the @Jaguars on Madden just for him."
@FredTaylorMade refused to let injuries keep him from ascending to greatness.

#Jaguars WR Jakobi Meyers, questionable with hamstring and ankle injuries, is good to go today, per source.

If you’re gonna trade Downs and Taylor, it doesn’t make a lot of sense to me to play either guy Sunday in Jax? If one of them gets hurt, there goes any potential deal. I don’t think I’m crazy here.
On one hand it’s nice to get good players out of the division and make the Jags route to the division championship that much easier.
On the other hand, it sucks that Jags had no shot at any of the players because it’s division teams.
Another win for the Jags. Two games against a depleted Colts roster. Players trade out of conference. It would have been nice to get Buckner, but still wins overall.
The fire sale begins.
Trade: Colts have agreed to send eight-time Pro-Bowl guard Quenton Nelson to the Seattle Seahawks, per me and @rapsheet. Nelson is on an expiring contract and the Colts are opting to get back draft capital now before they could lose him in free agency.
But an all-time Colt now moves on to the Seahawks.
