**ADC IREPODUN/IFELODUN HOUSE-TO-HOUSE CAMPAIGN: DIRECTOR GENERAL ALHAJI ABDULLAHI AWOLOKUN LEADS GRASSROOTS MOBILISATION IN IGEDE-EKITI** The Director General for Hon. Victor Babafemi Akinyemi, ADC Senatorial Candidate for Ekiti Central, **Alhaji Abdullahi Awolokun, ADC Ado Local Government Chairman and Director General (DG) for Hon. Victor Babafemi Akinyemi**, on Monday, October 26, 2026, led the ADC Irepodun/Ifelodun Local Government team on a strategic house-to-house campaign across Igede-Ekiti. The campaign was aimed at strengthening the party's grassroots presence, engaging residents directly, sensitising the electorate, and mobilising support for all ADC candidates ahead of the forthcoming elections. Addressing party faithful during the exercise, **Director General Alhaji Abdullahi Awolokun** emphasised the importance of unity, commitment, discipline, and collective responsibility in achieving the party's objectives. He urged all ADC members, ward executives, coordinators, and supporters to take the campaign seriously by reaching out to people in their homes, streets, communities, and places of engagement. He charged party faithful to ensure that the @ADCNig message reaches every household, stressing that effective grassroots mobilisation begins with personal contact, meaningful conversations, and consistent engagement with the people. According to him, every party member has an important role to play in creating awareness about the party's candidates, explaining their programmes and aspirations, and encouraging citizens to participate actively in the democratic process. The DG further called on members to work together as one united family, putting aside personal differences and focusing on the collective interest of the party. He noted that the success of any political movement depends not only on its leadership but also on the dedication, sincerity, and determination of its members at the ward and polling-unit levels. Alhaji Awolokun also encouraged the party faithful to remain peaceful, respectful, and responsive in their interactions with residents. He stressed that the house-to-house campaign should serve as an opportunity to listen to the concerns of the people, understand their expectations, and communicate the ADC's vision for improved governance, accountability, development, and a better future for Ekiti State and Nigeria. He reaffirmed the need for members to extend their mobilisation efforts beyond the immediate campaign, maintaining regular contact with residents and ensuring that the party remains connected to the people at the grassroots. He called on everyone to support all ADC candidates across the state, emphasising that cooperation and coordinated efforts would strengthen the party's outreach. **HON. ILESANMI COMMENDS THE DIRECTOR GENERAL** In his remarks, the ADC Irepodun/Ifelodun Local Government Chairman, **Hon. Ilesanmi**, expressed his sincere appreciation to Director General Alhaji Abdullahi Awolokun, who also serves as ADC Ado Local Government Chairman, for his dedication, leadership, and outstanding commitment to grassroots mobilisation. He commended the DG for a job well done, describing his presence and active participation in the house-to-house campaign as an encouragement to party members and a demonstration of the importance of taking the party's activities directly to the people. Hon. Ilesanmi encouraged ADC members across Irepodun/Ifelodun to remain steadfast, united, and committed to the task ahead. He urged them to see their responsibility as more than an ordinary political assignment, but as an opportunity to contribute to the struggle for improved leadership, accountability, economic progress, and better living conditions for Nigerians. He expressed concern over what he described as the failure of the current government to adequately meet the expectations of Nigerians in several critical areas. He therefore called on party faithful to communicate the need for change
