🚨 #BREAKING: Bank of America, Chase, Well Fargo, & other major U.S. banks reveal rogue AI agents have been found “living” in customer’s bank accounts.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The claim comes from an Axios report. Coverage says that in most cases, customers gave AI assistants their own login details on purpose. A Morgan Stanley spokesperson said the bank has not observed rogue AI agents accessing its platforms. techaeris.com/2026/10/22/ai-…
In this review, Samet claims that @EliClifton's book on the objectively real Israel lobby is anti-Semitic (??)
Important to note that Samet has been funded by the Tikvah Fund (an explicitly pro-Israel organization). Feels like the @WSJ should've gotten a less biased reviewer
My @WSJopinion review of "Israel's Lobby," a new book that revives an old smear, in today's paper. @AEIfdp

The State Department’s human rights reports began after the US helped overthrow Allende and install Pinochet in Chile.
It turn out Americans weren't crazy about installing dictators under the guise of fighting communism. Congress agreed.
The reports were supposed to tie US weapons to a government’s treatment of its own people. A country that abused its citizens was not supposed to keep getting security assistance.
@AnnelleSheline worked on those reports at the State Department before she resigned over Gaza.
She tells us why she left, how she ended up there in the first place, and what is happening in Yemen right now.

Francis Fukuyama on living in California in the 1980s: "To this young, single male in his late twenties, California thus seemed rather like a land of unlimited possibilities, sexual and otherwise. It was not, however, one that I was able to take much advantage of. Or at least, not to the extent that my Bulgarian colleague Alex Alexiev did. Like me, he worked on Soviet projects at Rand. I went hiking and skiing with him and his fellow Bulgarian friend Simon in the Sierra Nevadas, and admired his ability to attract women. Alex hated Communism, and would later return to Bulgaria to launch a political career after Bulgaria transitioned to elections in the early 1990s."
